49.3 per punt last night. That's getting it done.

another BOLism "Mandela"
Fostera did good too
Damn iPhone auto correct.
haha Mandela. Definitely a very good punter. The kid can bomb it.
I think one punt pinned them deep too, correct?
CM did a really nice job. I would also like to give props to Shelley this year. I don't believe that he missed a fg or xp all year.
Great job to this senior!

I thought our special teams has looked horrible all year (according to some who were calling for us to fire the Special Teams coach)...looked pretty good to me last night

Mandell was pretty consistent this year. Vast Improvement over last season.

Our special teams has progressively gotten better and Cody has been great for us this year.
First BCS championship game we didn't have a missed XP.
I agree. Cody has improved a lot, I thought he had a great season.
The kicking game was much improved with Mandell being very consistent and Shelley not missing a kick. The coverage units struggled a bit during the year. The part that made me the most nervous was Christian Jones returning punts, he makes questionable decisions back there consistently. Fielding balls on the hop, letting others roll 30 yards instead of catching it, waiting until the last possible moment to call for a fair catch. With as good as we are on both sides of the ball unless it is wide open for a return, call for the fair catch save us some field position and let's go play offense.
Agreed. He impressed the hell out of me in the NC last year and he looked so smooth. Dude has such soft hands but his decision making skills need to improve if he wants to keep that job in the Saban system
one more year?
Mandell should go down as one of the most improved this year IMO. Our special teams was very solid this year.
