has the full support of the entire AD and will have solid support for whatever he chooses to do with the BB program. He will be given the time to rebuild the team if it takes 3 years or more. It's obvious and well discussed that we have had a couple of cancers on this team for a few years now. It's affected every player on this team in some form. Putting these guys in bad spots and leading some to make poor choices. The only way CAG leaves the program within the next several years is by his own desire.
And that's as it should be imo.

Yup...and if you can't see what he's talking about, you're blind, an idiot, or both.

It is kind of Grant's job to deal with cancers before they ruin f the team. I really like Grant, but the excuses have been getting strong for him. If not for the run late last season against several of the worst teams in college basketball, Grant's tenure here would have been awful (it's still not very good). He's in his 3rd season and had a team ranked in the top 15 that isn't even going to make the dance. We lost to a previously winless (in the SEC) South Carolina squad, which is inexcusable. I like Grant, but he's getting a pass when he shouldn't, and that's why our b-ball program is what it is.
Coach Grant came into Alabama where the only 2 players who can score are nut jobs & recruiting for Alabama basketball is not the same as football. He has tried to work with these players & help them grow up but they have chosen to be knuckle heads time & time again. If Grant kicks them to the curb he doesn't have a chance to win games. Right now Coach Grant has a nice young group of players who should be much better next year & he should be able to be done with the 1 cancer who can still play college basketball.
Good to hear. Grant is a good coach and my only concern is that he will leave on his own. I hope he stays for a very long time.
...or you like making fun of helenatider.
I have not seen a single post on this board that says Grant should be in danger of losing his job. It is ok to be critical of something a coach does and still be supportive of the job they are doing.
glad to hear it. rtr
