Kicking is like golf. I don't care if the guy looks like a beast or if he was a sick high school linebacker, I'd rather have a guy who looked like Padraig Harrington than Arnold Schwartzager.
We signed the top kicker in the nation. Where is he? We want our kickers to be finesse enough to make field goals and consistent enough kicking off from the 35 that they don't need to make tackles (although Cade the mule missed one on the TD last week). There has to be somebody better at kicking. His muscular build should not be of concern to anyone. I hope the next guy looks like a p**** but never misses a kick.
Cade would have been better off going to a smaller school and starting at LB.
"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, nobody!"
I agree... Cade is too inconsistent and I will be glad when he graduates.
Rough crowd. Guy has been playing lights out all year and has one off night and getting attacked, oh well.
Perfect example: Cody Parky. He looks like he's 14 but that SOB is good. Very accurate!
But that's the thing, we've only needed him one time this year. And he knows we need him, that's why he melted like butter.
I think that he is a little mentally fragile. He has been great all year, but, it seems that when things start to go bad for him, it snowballs.
Playing lights out ALL year? Don't know about that.
The most inconsistent kicker I've ever seen suit up for UA. It's pitiful, how does the staff have any confidence in him at this point in his career?
He's been pretty inconsistent since the day he got to ttown. He's had good moments and bad ones but a consistent D1 kicker by any stretch is a statement very few if ANY would choose to describe CF. No one is attacking the guy but by all means have some more kool aid.
Kid should be getting it into the end zone on atleast greater than 50% of his kick offs and hasn't been able to do that this year with the spot being moved up in his favor. He's probably at like 40%-45%
He lets the pressure get to him. You can see it in his face when he lines up. Maybe the should try him out at fullback. He can kick, when he has a clear head but when we need him its too much pressure.

I agree, his problem has always been between the ears.
Now the pressure is off and he's kicking it out the back of the endzone. Nor keyed see if he gets to try a long fieldgoal
He's not a kicker. He's a stiff, well built pretty decent athlete. But all we need him to do is kick. We need one of those little limber kicker guys, with the smooth golf swing leg.
We need a kicker, who can do nothing but kick and is really really f****** good at it.
Yes the game is looking in hand now, but you can put last week's TD and 13 points in this game on his lack of perfection.
To all the "rough crowd" complainers out here, I thought we strived for perfection. This guy is far far from it. And no one should take any of this too seriously- this post is as meaningless as any- this is an internet message board.
I'm not attacking, but his mental toughness just isn't there. I pull for him every time he goes out there, but he showed tonight that he is not reliable.
