Espn is saying Oregon will promote offensive coordinator "if" Chip leaves for NFL. Seems like they know it's coming, wonder where he lands. Also says Bill O'brian has a 9 mill $$ buyout.
From duck to an eagle.....bird fetish IMO.

Reports are saying that some at Oregon believe he is gone. I don't think anyone knows where yet. That will come after tonight, once he sits down with Philly, Cleveland, whomever else. And yes, we have been hearing they will promote within for the head coaching position - fwiw as well
Pontiac, never see you post anymore. What gives?
Just a lurker these days, too many infants on the board sometimes...
So is there anyone committed to Oregon that we could get in on at this late stage "if" chip leaves?
O Brian to Cleveland
Kelly to Philly or Buffalo
U can tell by his easy going smiles in the pre-game. He's never like that.
I'll take K State... 45-35
He's been gone. Even the AD has been open about how e thinks Kelly will leave.
I'd heard the OC thing the other day. I think that's the way to go. They have a system and need to stick with it.
I got Oregon winning big.
You may be right. Wow
Pontiac, I miss your posts. Glad to see you back.
Gotta think Philly makes since with the personnel in place hey
Yup if they keep Vick and with McCoy at RB. Then you have the fast shifty wr's in Jackson and Maclin
I think Lovie Smith actually lands in Buffalo.
The world get pissed at Saban for committing himself to the Miami Dolphins. He focused on the season and made sure that his guys stayed focus on the season until its completion. He may have lied or he could have changed his mind after the season. Who knows? But at least he had the integrity and common sense to not openly look for a job while he had one so it wouldn't affect his team's mind state and on field performance. He gets vilified for it even five years after the fact. At least it seems that his heart was in the right place and he had his priorities in order.
Chip Kelly schedules interviews while his team is preparing for a BCS bowl. Oregon's recruiting class currently only has 13 commitments. He is walking around with a **** eating grin on his face while his team is under NCAA investigation for something that he did. He obviously doesn't care that his busy interview schedule could interfere with his team's game prep. Nope. He doesn't have a care in the world because he is looking at the front door. But guess what? No one says a word. Apparently Kelly's douchebaggery gets a pass. He is scumbucket but there is no problem with his behavior, huh? Just ridiculous.

Had not thought about it that way, you make some good points.
Awe shucks, thanks man, I will try to bring it more often. I read the board daily & post now and then, guess I need to up my game.....
O Brian just informed penn st he is staying put. Is not going to pursue a NFL job. Just announced
Fact of the matter is, Saban and Alabama are hated entities in the sports world. We've been raked over the coals since the SEC Championship game. There is definitely a double standard by the media when it comes to stuff like this.
