Thought about putting this out yesterday, but figured someone else would do it. When I noticed no one else had done it today,I had to go ahead and post. This is what worries me about places all over the SE tomorrow and Wednesday. There is a very dangerous severe weather episode about to occur, and nobody is paying attention because of it being Christmas. Folks, this its the biggest threat the state has had since the day i'm not going to name. Everybody just needs to keep a close eye on the weather, and go over your severe weather plans with your family again. Also, you can go to Spann's website alabamawx.com for some good info. Also look at talkweather.com, and click on general weather discussion and you can find the severe weather thread. Just wanted everyone to be aware that might not already know about it.
Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.
Scary stuff be safe everyone

Wow. Thanks for the heads up. I knew there was a chance of bad weather but had no idea it was supposed to be that bad.

Thanks. I had no idea.
The sun warmed everything much more than expected because clouds cleared in the middle of the day across the area. The air was already unstable, but that pushed it way over the edge.

Tornadoes will be more isolated then last time, and Torcon is around 50-60% which is better then the 80-90% a year ago. Can never be too prepared, just continue to monitor.
Much appreciated sir.
Y'all pray for safe travels for our players, supposed to be traveling back to town Wednesday and many coming from Georgia and the East coast where the storm will be.
I know this isn't the most important thing by any stretch with this kind of thing, but do y'all think this will effect practice plans for wednesday if our players have delays on getting back into town?
Was just watching the weather a few minutes ago. Looks like it will be coming from the SW here in Mississippi. They said look for it to start about 8am in south Mississippi to 11am in central up to northern Mississippi. So I'm guessing it will be heading towards Alabama sometime after that. Just a heads up guys so everyone be safe. Looks like it could get nasty from what they are saying.
Looks like the meridian area will get the worst of it.
Not looking good in Baldwin county.
Just hope everybody stay safe and pay attention to the weather.
Was really hoping to have a nice pleasant Christmas down in Hattiesburg, but apparently that just won't be in the cards. Rumor around town is that Jim Cantore will be camped out here tomorrow.
the warnings are to get all travel completed BEFORE 3 pm CST. After that is when it goes to he**..
According to his twitter account that is correct.
@JimCantore: It's settled! I leave for Hattiesburg, MS in the morning. Merry Christmas to all & may this #severe 4cast underachieve. #tornado #travel

God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
