Word, thanks for beating Auburn.
Tennessee will disappoint you
I agree. I think they played better than I thought vs NCST however they won't be able to blitz 6-7 guys every game without getting burnt. I see them as 7-5, 6-6 ish

VA Tech looked a little disappointing to me. Their passing game is suspect
I think Georgia will also dissapoint. I am not really impressed with the SEC this year. It is basically Alabama and LSU and a decent conference after that. Tennessee was the only other team that looked ready to play, and that is sad. Richt continues to go neck and neck with Mac Brown in the "Have the most, but do the least" category.

Glad to help.
I think the jury is out on Tennessee. South Carolina's season will depend a lot on the injury to Shaw. Georgia- hvac you are spot on there. Lots of talent in Athens. What will they do with it this year? We'll know a lot after the Mizzou game.
Question gang- Florida brings in Brent Pease from Boise State as OC and Saturday there was no evidence of that offense present. I don't mean results; I get that takes time but I am talking about the overall scheme. Any thoughts on that?
No way I put CU #4. They made enough mistakes in the 1st half Saturday to lose 4 games. Fortunately, Auburn sucks. No way I'm putting CU over ARK, SCAR, or FSU, That defense is just not good enough.
Very impressive win for Alabama on Saturday. Putting Michigan to bed early allowed the country to turn over and watch Clemson take down Auburn.
I personally had FSU and Georgia still ahead of Clemson. Their defenses are much better, but until they play someone it's difficult to get a read on their strengths and weaknesses. Clemson did beat an SEC team, at a neutral site, without their best player, so there is something to be said for that. However, as I pointed out in my Sunday wrap-up, the defense is going to be a work in progress this season, and the ACC Tigers are going to rely heavily on their offense to win games. In my opinion that's not a championship formula, though Auburn managed to do it 2 years ago.
Anyway...congratulations again on the victory last week, and it's a lot of fun watching the Tide play defense.
