I am sure this topic has been addressed ad nauseum, but I never found the story on the poster who continually posted about the AU investigation. The talk about Ole Miss and AU recruits got me thinking today. Anyway, this involved the guy who said "imagine" and "heh, heh, heh" or something to that effect. Was he ever identified? Was he just a troll? For some reason, I recall his avatar having a picture of him and Denise Richardson, but maybe I'm confusing him for someone else. Anyway, I have always wondered what his deal was and what the heck "heh, heh, heh" meant. I know he posted a lot back then and at least pretended to know what he was talking about. But I admittedly probably just wanted a lot of that stuff to be true. It's funny, because now I'm perfectly happy just kicking that arse on the field. I don't care if AU has a great or poor recruiting class, or whether they win or lose (unless it's against Bama). I believe Bama is so far ahead with player development and the quality of the head guy, that AU will continue to play second fiddle in this State. After 4 straight years of total domination, I can't seem to get worked up anymore about the troubles of AU, their possible recruiting violations, that hat-backwards, towel spinning fool, and the like. I, too, have been processed. And I'm better off because of it.

Just let it go man. He still posts, and probably would like to forget that crap.
I think "Imagine" became a catchphrase for anything to do with the Cam Newton investigation.
And the poster's were not trolls. They have been long time members either here or other boards.
To summarize, it essentially warped the space time continuum of those with insider status and those without.
jawa asked for forgiveness and received it. ccrolltide is stil one of the laughing stocks of this board
Fair question. I can't remember how this was closed up. Would like the cliffs also. Heh, heh, heh
I do believe the poster was "ccrolltide."
The highlight for me came when he and some other poster were supposed to have a bet regarding CC's hollywood credentials....they were supposed to meet at some bar or something to settle it...
All very juvenile....and I say that as I sit here obsessing over the college choices of a bunch of 17 and 18 year old kids.
Actually those who kept pushing that crap are laughing stocks on this board for how they attacked those who didn't buy it. Forgiveness or not...
And, to be clear, I'm not saying they are or were trolls, I seriously did not know one way or another. It seems that they were either very wrong or were trolling. If they are reputable posters, then so be it. I just was mainly curious about the use of "imagine" and "heh, heh, heh." I thought maybe he was quoting one of the allegedly crooked boosters. Or maybe he was just clearing his own throat. As far as letting it go, I never had it. Hence the question.
Here we go.
heh, heh, heh is and was ccrolltide's calling card. It is really just to imply a sly or a mischieveous laughter. For example, "I went to a Christmas Party, and took an upper decker in my Barner co-workers bathroom." Heh, heh, heh.
If their handle was the same on previous boards, then they have posted reliable info in the past and are really die-hard Bama fans.
I for one found the whole thing entertaining although it did go a bit too far over the top. Regardless, that's why Lucky has installed an ignore feature for those less tolerant.
The only thing now is that it's made some people "gunshy" about posting inside info. Pretty sure everyone is now Forgive and Forget.
this thread has potential
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
I laughed at the threads. Never took them as serious just good reading material.
You'll never achieve great things until you believe that's what's supposed to happen
