DEATH TO THE ANGRY ELEPHANT
Although a few of them look ok, someone sure did waste a lot time coming up with all of those. I just do not envision a time in the near future Alabama would add much of anything to the current scheme.

I love the current scheme
I love our unis the way they are now, great classic look.
this guy's got some serious time on his hands. his service academy uniform and helmet concepts are pretty sweet too, especially air force and navy's. he's got an LSU concept helmet that's pretty nice too
Some look really cool. But I am with most of y'all and still like the ones we have now.
would like to see us wear the white helmets like we did in the 60's, 70's, and 80's in some of the less competitive games. some of the players who wore them are john hannah, ken stabler, johnny musso, lee roy jordan, walter lewis, billy neighbors, pat trammell, mike fracchia, and mike hall. please don't tell me that it's not part of our tradition. also, i think they could wear the numbers on the sleeves of our jersies for these games. one thing coach bryant said that we would never wear as long as he was the coach at alabama were the crimson pants. his last few years he added the names to the back of the jersies and allowed the players to wear white shoes.
I'm an old timer and started following the Tide in the mid fifties. I lived through the era when we occasionaly wore the white helmets with the white jerseys. I wouldn't mind seeing us do that again now.
Please link the quote to Coach Bryant talking about the color of pants. I don't remember that one.
I agree...it would be like the Yankees effin with the pinstripe unis...
he made that statement on one of his replay shows that came on every sunday at 4:00 p.m. on channel 13. i don't recall which one but georgia(red) and tennessee(orange) had started wearing colored pants...coach bryant was old school. he had to be talked into putting players names on the back of jersies and wearing white shoes. i think they just wore the white shoes for a season or 2 and then perkins took over. after one season i think perkins changed them back to black shoes.

Really cool designs. I wish it would be mandatory for teams playing in Kick off games or certain Bowls to wear these new unis.
The more things change....the better the unchanged looks.
