Not cancelling your flight to Miami the day you lost to Texas A&M because you're still too arrogant and confident that your team will still get to the BCS National Championship.
(My wife booked the flight a few hours before the A&M game)

I've booked my reservations for the National Championship games every year starting in 2009 in January, an entire year before the games are even played. That's how confident I've been. I've needed them so far two out of three times. Looks like I may be heading for three out of four times. Roll Tide
How did it work out for the non-BCS year? Were you able to sell the reservations or get a refund? I've contemplated doing this as an investment-type scenario - Bama makes it I go and "win;" Bama doesn't make it, I sell the reservation without a real loss. Just didn't know enough about the logistics to decide if it was feasible.
