I also hope he does well in the tournament. He is a better coach than we currently have, plus he is a bama guy.
If he doesn't make it past the 2nd round, he underachieved in what was expected to be a great year. He has loads of talent but as usual, his road wins are lacking. Temple could drop them easily in round 1.
He's not a better coach IMO, and I think Grant should be gone. We traded offense for defense is all we did with the coaching change. Our teams played half hearted with Mark and that's not the case with Coach Grant. I think we can make a better hire than both of them.
Agreed. His team is in the field while we are NIT bound with no big man.
Agreed. I respect Mark for his playing days under Wimp (that 1986-87 Sweet 16 run into Billy Donovan's Prov team was one great year)...but not as a coach or a person.

If CMG hadn't left J. Green and Mitchell, would Grant still be here? CMG obviously wasn't doing a good job, but Grant inherited Green, bad attitude or not, Green won many games for us last year
I know all about the Steele situation but I find it extremely comical that fans blame him, but no trainers, doctors or consultants, many of whom still work for UA. People only blame him because of their own personal reasons and turn a blind eye to everyone else.
