As you wish..

Not taking anything away from Coop but there was some pretty good blocking on that play as well. Really impressed to see Jones get from center to the has to make a block. My favorite part was both Herby and Muss were just saying keep everything in front of you and then Coop takes a short pass to the house.

I feel like we are getting a glimpse of what Keenan Allen would've done for our team. They have similar smoothness.
Yes, I mentioned that in my original post (re: blockers). What I didn't realize is that the blockers were Michael Williams and Barrett Jones - perfect execution. Usually, that play is done with WRs split wide, so I didn't realize how different of a play it was until now.

That play was a thing of beauty -- Williams locks up the CB, and Barrett gets out really fast and seals off the LB perfectly.
And, of course, Cooper clowns the safety.
Here's the 3rd quarter touchdown.
He's always open because of the perfect routes he runs... Almost unheard of route running skills straight outta high school let alone college players.
Interesting to watch that play a few times. It was a zone blitz by the D, and no one else would have been open except Lacy in the flat where he would have had to beat the zone blitzer (DE).
Watch Warmack stone the blitzing MLB - the LB just gave up, haha!
Yeah...Chance was really impressive there. I should watch the line play more...some really dominant stuff right there.

Kinda surprised more on fans on here arent talking more about that first deep ball that Coop caught.. i mean, th guy went up n got it at th highest point, came down on Two feet, and thenn shot out for th end zone until bein pulld down just shy of 6.. that truly was Moss-like becaus most WRs would have certainly fallen down after that catch!!
#NotGonnaLie, my jaw dropped when he immediately accelerated as soon as he caught it. I am so used to our WR dropping it or falling down. Instead, Amari shot right into a full sprint.
Proof my posts? I only saw it once in real time and never saw a replay, because the broadcast didn't show one. In my first post, I asked for replays/videos, and after receiving some links, I watched the video and corrected myself in a later post.
You're trying too hard...

Yeah, Amari is pretty good.
He also made a catch on a short crossin route where he dodged one tackle and then shook the shoes off of another guy to turn what should have been a short gain into a first down.
Amari is a beast. He is advanced in his route running, hands, and ball skills far beyond what you would expect for a freshman.
Reminds me of combo of Early Doucet & Peter Warrick.
1. It is better grammar to spell out your numbers (three instead of 3)
2. One should not begin anything using only a persons last name. The first time you mention Amari Cooper, you should spell out his whole name.
3. "props" is a slang term. The word "credit" would be better to use,
4. If you are going to say props then the following: "Props also go to the two Bama WRs who locked up their defenders beautifully,......." would be better worded as either:
I would like to give props to the two Bama wide receivers who..................
Props goes to .....
Props to the two Bama..........
roll_tide_55, you are obviously affected greatly by my presence, and it is enjoyable. Please continue.
ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE....like NO other
I think we need a Cooper vs Julio thread. Imo Cooper has better hands and quicker cuts. He also can judge the ball better (times his jump and position better vs defensive player). Julio has an inch or two on him and is a better athlete (maybe the best athlete we've ever had at WR). Cooper will soon start getting double teamed (Im sure MSU will) then we will see how good he really is. But I haven't seen anyone that can cover him yet. I bet Milliner has a tough time covering him in practice.
After watching the play a couple times, you begin to really appreciate the design. It had to be perfectly executed. The fact that Cooper was able to get 3 yards of seperation immediately (with a defender in his face), is what allows Williams to come in a make that first block; otherwise he's tackled.
