Think he ever wonders what if?
I never thought he'd be a regular contributor here but he would of gotten carries this year for sure. At least he would have finished college with a few NC rings. Instead, he's a backup on a garbage team.
That difference makes for uninteresting stories to tell your grandkids. Instead of telling them about being a part of the greatest run in the history of college football Grant is going to be telling them about being a part of the worst run in SEC history. HAHA
The only difference is he would be standing on the opposite sideline Saturday. If he isn't a contributor on Auburn's sorry ass team, there's no way he would be playing for us except in a game like WCU.
He has to look at Cyrus Jones PT this year and with the other RB injuries...kick himself.
Of course, if he wasn't motivated to do the work, and looked for the easy way out, he might not be upset at all.
We are talking about a kid . . . Right? Why would anyone wish ill will on a young man trying to play the game he loves? Classy?
Has he even seen the field this season??
He wouldn't have contributed much at Bama and Corey wants to be a difference maker. I wish he'd have gone to an SEC school where he could have been a featured back.
Tell it like it is!
Probably not the trashiest post ever on BOL, but certainly not the least ^^^.
Before you trash the young man, consider that he chose to transfer to Auburn, because he wasn't going to play at UA. From many accounts, he's a classy guy - just not good enough to play. Saban's directive , "be a champion," applies, here, in my view.
+2. Unfortunately your words will fall on deaf ears.
Wish we would have made him a receiver. Dude is a terry grant clone. Fast but no shiftiness.
No, not a kid. A young man. Why is it that when a 18 y/o goes to play college ball people refer to them as kids but when a 18 y/o goes in the military he is a man.
Hope we can win a couple championships this season...give everyone plenty to think about...
I hear very few people call the guys in the military men. I hear a lot of "we are sending our kids over seas." They may come back men, but they are not when they leave, IMO. Lord knows I wasn't at 18 with many of the decisions I made. I'm just glad they weren't public.
Huh? Airmen, seamen, infantryman. We call them all men because when you take on that responsibility, you are an adult.
His Daddy tells every one he can about how he jumped coach NS and told him off so i am glad the barn gave him the shaft.
