This is true
I think the term "Kid" is relevant in terms of the person making the assessment. He's a young man (is that better) who was never going to see the field at Bama and wanted to go home. I guess it's easier to make ignorant judgments when you have never been in their situation. As it is, you're just a fan posting on a sports blog. Gain some perspective and give these KIDS a break. Otherwise, the ignorance in this thread is on a level with poisoning trees because you hate a football team. I simply can't hate a person because they don't play for Alabama.
And this post: "I hope we break his traitor ass in half." Maybe that's not hate. I guess we can disagree.
I totally agree. I remember making bad decisions when i was 19-20. Being close to home or at home, and getting free education is well worth it.
I can understand that in a way. I was in the military during Desert Storm and I did what I was told to do. I just want to make a point that protecting someone from detrimental comments early in there adulthood does not properly prepare them for their journey through adulthood. Everyone needs to learn early in life that some people will say terrible things about you and they need to learn how to deal with that early.
Thank you for this post. Seems like more and more kids are posting on here.
