Now we know Saban would never do it, but if he let the dogs out do you think we could score a 100 on Auburn. I expect a game much like today and the starters to be thinking about Ga. early in the 2nd half. I would like to see the first half where we score early, often, and fast. It would be a wonderful parting gift for everyone down on the plains who will be leaving after the game. Your thoughts?
considering we are down to lacy, always questionable due to nagging injuries, callaway, and ben howell, seems like we might pass it a bit more than usual. i dont see coach saban making it worse than a 49 point difference though and even thats a stretch. injury bug has been fairly gracious to our team except for one major position.
Roll Tide all across the USA!!!!
I think it will be closer than y'all think. They have a good D line.
If Saban wanted too, probably. 100 pts. is a stretch but a few turnovers and our team bringing their A game and who knows. I honestly think 70 - 80 pts. Would be reachable. I'm of the same opinion that Saban wouldn't do it because he has too much class. I wouldn't have a problem with him putting the pedal to the metal and not letting off against Auburn. I have not said a word to any barner friends this year but as soon as we lost last week, my phone blew up with all kinds of garbage. I am holding out to after the auburn game but if we beat them as
badly as I'm thinking we will, it's going to get really bad for them!!!!!!
This thread is one of the crazier threads I have read on here. Jus sayin.
Sorry guys but this is just the attitude CNS preaches against. AU will throw everything but the kitchen sink at us. We are a little banged up and let's face it the last three weeks has not been typical Alabama football. Way to many mistakes. With that said I can't see AU beating us but don't be surprised if it is a 17-3 type game at the half.
I'm hoping for a curb stomping but I expect we will get all they got.

Did somebody say Yeldon is out for next week, and that Drake is going to still be suspended?
TRADITION IS THE FOUNDATION GREAT PROGRAMS ARE BUILT UPON.
We need to just take care of business! How bad we beat them is irrelevant, and 100 pt is just dumb! If you want to piss a barn fan off just ignore them!!!! Make sure they know we just want to get through this game to move on, which is true. To ignore them will kill them, because the fact they are I biggest rival is all they ever had!!!
I have a feeling this is going to be a fight. This game is all they have. I hope we approach them with caution no matter how shitty they are.
Our basketball team could score 100 on Auburn's defense.
And our football team could score 100 points in basketball against Auburn.
We probably win about like last year IMO..42-14 and I hope our players dont understimate them like we did tamu...no auburn isnt that good but still, we cant give them any hope like they had against lsu
I agree. & the best game they've had on defense was against LSU. Who plays the same style that we do. Hopefully we hit them with some big plays early on. If we do that. They will quit rather quickly.
I expect a tough game.
I'm very worried. Apparently they put people in motion when on offense. S.C.A.R.Y.
Something smells bad on the plains.
LSU's offense was still nonexistent at that point in the season. Mettenberger didn't figure out that he was supposed to be good until he played us. Georgia is a better comparison and they won 38-0.
sorrry if I don't share the same sentiments with some posters who are worry about this game. its actually quite amusing that some Bama fans are more concerned about this game than auburn fans.
if you read ITAT, most are hoping to get a 1st down in the 1st half, crossing the 50 yard line, believe that this is the worst auburn team to ever face one of the best Bama teams in recent memories. they whole heartedly believe that CNS will run up the score for style points to keep Bama firm in 2nd place, etc etc.
I know, I know we can't assume or take any games for granted, but I believe once Bama scores the 1st TD, the barn will fold like a cheap tent. they did it against UGA at home. BDS will be a long day for them.
