One Thursday night in Pasadena, California, and the next day in Hollywood got hundreds of "Roll Tide". Who would have thought?
Wasn't a Roll Tide.....but got a "ahh...Crimson Tide" from a detainee at GTMO a few years back. He came to the hospital for a cardiac procedure and saw my Alabama t-shirt on the back of my chair. I think he was educated somewhere down south.
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
Under the water in the middle of Ocean serving aboard the USS Jimmy Carter SSN-23.
The Bellagio in Las Vegas. A guy sitting next to me at a blackjack table saw my class ring and gave me a Roll Tide!
From a USAF 2-Star outside the Pentagon. The houndstooth tie with script A logo is now my "power tie".
In an airplane while refueling an airplane in the air during Combat Time in a Combat Zone(not to be named), we always flew with a BAMA flag or something with a Big A on it in the window, there were many situations when you would hear a Roll Tide inflight during combat, Bama fans always know how to express their love for football and the TIDE
A sidewalk cafe on a back alley in Mykonos, Greece.
Got a Roll Tide at the 4 overtime barn vs Syracuse game in 2002 while I was wearing a Alabama hat and shirt.
Billings, Montana and Cody, Wyoming.
Elk Hunting in WY; Bama/TN Game in Knoxville (RTR!!); Whitewater rafting on the Chattooga!
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
