Legion Field went crazy also!
I want Julio and Amari at the same time!

#35 made a huge block on that last play. Was that Houston? Forgot his first name.

If we had a healthy McCarron, Lacy, Jones, Cooper and Palmer we'd be invincible lol. Man that would be sweet!
Yes 35 was Martin Houston. He was a great blocker.
He sure was.
I miss those big shoulder pads the defense use to wear. Houston was a monster.
edit: nvmd saw betteroff already addressed it

Is that the common thinking around here in regards to 1992? Just asking because I would not agree. I was a big Palmer fan, as we all were, but one player didn't make or break that season guys. That was a loaded NFL defense with a big physical OL and a few NFL running backs, fullbacks, and TEs if you recall. He was super special no doubt but I wouldn't say bottom line without him we don't win 1992. That's absurd.

Sorry I was 11 lol Meant the old gray lady
Deuce's college highlights were spectacular but his high school highlights were other worldly! He had a 5-10min segment on the tv stations each Friday night that was dedicated to only his highlights. I graduated the same year as Deuce and we crossed paths a couple of times on the awards circuit. Does anyone out there have his high school highlights or know anyone that does? Those are the real treasure!
Surely someone from Jackson-Olin could put together a clip n post on YouTube. He is still very much talked about over there.
BUMP....in hopes that someone might know where to find some of his high school highlight reels...
He could do some spectacular things with a football in his hands. One of the all-time greats without question.

No joke! Just imagine what could've happened to his legacy if he had just stopped making all those babies and just had a marriage license faked. All Cake from here...
Pre-injury, I was hoping that Chris Black might sprinkle in some "Deuce type" plays this past season. Here's hoping for 2013!
Lenny Patrick had some of those type plays while in HS at Walker in the late '70's.
How far off would it be to see ArDarius Stewart do some Amari Cooper stuff in the future?
was at legion field for the two point conversion vs the viles. he was great the all day but on that drive spectacular. as much as i hate ties that one almost felt like a win! legion field erupted the Tide won the next year and made it 8-0-1 over the viles in the previous 9 seasons. RTR

We may have never scored against La Tech without him if I remember correctly. Ugly game and they had a bunch of guys go pro also. His punt returns were the difference.
Duece's highlight films are the only clips where he was moving slow enough to be caught on camera. The great stuff I remember never made it to print because it was just a blur!
