Going after Bama commits is his main focus. Gotta respect that.
Saban > Liner!
The heck with him. He will be a three year starter for the barn, but will go to the pros less prepared than many Bama DL with less starting experience. His team will win zilch when it comes to championships and he will probably be as big a whiner as they have at the Barn.
I'm really not sure why I got to respect that? If he sticks with the cow college I hope we beat him four straight years by a combined 200 points.
Maybe I am wearing my Crimson glasses on this one, but any kid who picks Auburn over Alabama right now if they have a scholarship offer from Alabama is a serious head scratcher. Why the hell would you want to go a boring cow college like Auburn (absolutely depressing town) that is going to win an average of 7-8 wins a season the next four years.

Plus these kids all know it will be twice as hard to make it through Bama's practices, strength and conditioning workouts, and be under CNS's no-nonsense system than any other SEC program. Not every recruit we offer is willing to accept that challenge. Alabama is like the USMC--we are looking for only "a few good men" who are up to the challenge of winning NCs CNS's way..
Well said, Stryker.
Wow. He seems to be doing a bang up job... (insert sarcasm here)
Eat clean. Train Hard.
This place would be one big circle jerk if one of our guys said he was recruiting Liner & Lawson to Bama from Auburn. Stop being clowns with the dv's.
7-8 wins and not knowing who your head coach will be in two years. Chizik won't last more than two years.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4
Good for him. He can either play with them or get his ass kicked by them. Can't blame him for trying.
Look at like this, if an Auburn head coach sits down at a kids house and puts in the tape from last year, what does he see? He sees a team that got blown out four times last year and a very average defense that couldn't stop anything. That translates to immediate playing time. When an auburn coach looks at any kids on the either side of the ball and say that we really REALLY need you, just by looking at the tape from last year you know that they mean it.
On the other hand, we rarely give up points, most of those kids are coming back especially on the defensive side of the ball, and it is clear that Alabama doesn't mess around regrading conditioning, preparation, coaching, and discipline, I can understand why Alabama is not for everyone. This is not a knock against any kid out there but Alabama is just not for everyone. That is something that I am proud to support.
People said the same thing but with the teams flipped through the Shula years at Bama. The same fans who think it is crazy now for a kid going to Auburn thought it was perfectly rational for a kid to come to Bama during our down years.
Alabama has WAY more tradition than Auburn does; and isnt a depressing farm town like Auburn. Most of the peope Auburn are signing right now dont even graduate.
Cheesehead has gone 8-5, 14-0 (with a paid for QB), and back to 8-5 then next and lucky not 4-8. As a recruit, do they honestly think they are going to go to Auburn and develop and actually be in the championship race. Cheesehead's history clearly says no and without a paid for QB he is likely fired at the end of this year and still believe he will be fired in the next 3 years.
What the hell is going on with these posts today. Are people losing their minds
Where Auburn is now is a heck of a lot better than where we were 6 years ago. You have to admit that.
A little better yes. A lot better no.
