Do you mind posting some of the other top official times? TIA
Thanks for posting, I have been very curious about this.
That's a blazing time. .13 faster than the #6 pick last year. Top 5 pick for DM, well deserved
Top 10 official times this year from nfl.com:
Goodwin, Marquise Texas WO 4.27
Austin, Tavon West Virginia WO 4.34
McCalebb, Onterio Auburn RB 4.34
Swope, Ryan Texas A&M WO 4.34
Slay, Darius Mississippi St. DB 4.36
Davis, Knile Arkansas RB 4.37
Milliner, Dee Alabama DB 4.37
Boyce, Josh TCU WO 4.38
Stills, Kenny Oklahoma WO 4.38
Trufant, Desmond Washington DB 4.38
that's what i'm talking about. Take that haters!
Thanks for the list
I remember when getting in the 4.4 was considered elite. Now you see 4.3's and 4.2's which is blazingly fast. When you enter 4.2 area laser timed you are a world class speedster.
That time is nasty for Kniles Davis!

If Davis played hard every play and held on to the football a little better he would be a first rounder.
I think injuries were his biggest problem.
You mean he isn't tired too?
had no idea swope was that fast
this and Knile davis faster then I thought. Guess I never saw him in the open field
5 of the top 7 were SEC guys. Swope was certainly surprising.
That's because he was usually looking back to see where he left the football.

I had heard about knile a few times...hes definitely an athletic freak but for whatever reason he was not very good this year, mainly at holding onto the ball
I guess our species is getting faster
not sure why so many people find Milliner's speed this surprising. Dude locked down every receiver he was matched up against this year. It's pretty obvious that mccaleb's speed will land him a place on a NFL roster next season. The question is, what position does he end up playing? His body of work is pretty atrocious with the exception of a couple of kick returns. I may have just answered my own question there. Feel free to add if you want.
Swope did beat Dee on the last td didn't he? Or was that Belue?
I see why Bama's secondary couldn't handle.
Pretty sure it was Milliner who got beat, but by Kennedy, not Swope. Swope had a career game against us but I'm not sure he was ever covered by Milliner.
My bad I thought Swope scored the final td
