don't sleep on D. White. Kid can really be dynamic.
He's clearly abandoned whatever "dog house" he may have been in after the incident on the strip.
I'll try and answer some of the questions here:
Kelly Johnson played special teams last year. That he's listed first at H-back tells me that he's the best blocker of the group, and obviously Fowler will be in there as well on occasion.
As we reported numerous times during camp, Bell has had some injury issues and Cooper missed all of last week with a foot injury.
The jersey numbers (Patrick and Shelley) were made so there would be no conflicts on special teams.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
Saban gave a small clue this was coming when he mentioned how tough Kelly Johnson was in one of his 2nd week press conferences. That had to be a surprise talking about a senior walk-on almost know one had heard of.
We all know about why he DW hasn't seen field. I'm just finally excited that may be we will be able to see what he can do because frankly I was starting to wonder if we would ever see it because it's all I ever read about him was how fast and great he is. I gotta ask, how do you know he's got his act cleaned up? Are u on the inside DW tip? Jus wondering
Look at Geno Smith rocking at CB as a true frosh. I love that kid and he will be an absolute stud for Bama for years to come.
Very impressive 2 Deep Group. Don't think another team in america has this much depth and talent. 2nd String guys would start at most BCS Schools. There are couple of players who left the team in past 2 years now starting at other schools. Think one starts at Texas and the Other starts at Tennessee.
So out of the 110 or so D1 teams out there, how many would we beat with our 2nd/3rd string guys? I put the over/under at 50.
"You feeling satisfied now Teddy?"
