First those guys are horrible like most us already knew but while I was on lunch I caught the barn segment and the Chirs Low audio recap of what to expect from AU this season. Low said that he fully expects them to win eight regular season games because they do have "that kind" of talent and they will be the most improved team in the West. In a nutshell he mentioned that there schedule sets up nicely but there toughest task is going away/away with Arky and Tenn. He then said if one of the big 3 slips up then they could possibly find themselves in the hunt for a 9 wins season? Shortly after the segment a barner from within the studio claimed that anything less than a 9 win season would be a huge disappointment. I was laughing at this point....where do these guys come up with this stuff? I by no means am saying that AU cant ever win again or even slip up and win a couple of coin flip games but they will not triple their win production in just one season. I know they're a dilusional bunch but come on how many times can they set themselves up for failure? Its like they believe that no one else in the freakin country is doing offseason workouts and progressing. I will say one thing, they will have to scrap to win 6. I hate to do this, as I know it very well happened, but 2010 they should have lost 4 games. They were no better than an eight win team, just a phenomenal athlete that was the team. Anyways, i'm ready for some action....this site has been dead for a month....
I heard the whole original segment yesterday and he actually said they had brought in the talent to win 8 games if they can get decent QB play. He said that AU fans should be disappointed if they didn't win 8 games. It wasn't really a "Barn" segment so to speak though.

Ahhhh.....one of my favorite pastimes. How many losses for the tiggers?
I see a split between WSU and MSU and they should beat arky st. Although how funny would an upset be here? Then two straight losses to LSU and Ole Miss. Gimme against western Carolina. Loss at aTm and another gimme at FAU (arky st. comment applies here as well). Here is their most interesting stretch. Both arkansas and Tennessee are terrible but so is the barn. This is probably another split.
This puts their season squarely at 5-5 with the Dawgs and Bama left. Final prediction 5-7. Now, if they win all four games of the two game splits I mentioned that win total could increase. But lose the opener to WSU and they could repeat their 3-9 season from a year ago.

They will win at least 6 games imo.

The idiot that said 9 is the shows producer who is an AU fan (Saber).
Hell last year Mcshay said AU was his dark horse to win the west. I love when they get their hopes up

Even if they start 3-0, the best I could see them doing is 8 wins. That is a stretch and I'm thinking losses to Lsu, Ole Miss, A&M, Georgia, and Bama. Split @Tenn and @ Ark to go 6-6. If they slip up early to WSU or Miss St then it could be a 4 win season.
Seriously doubt they lost to Washington St. Just a different level of athlete, even at Auburn, than they have at Washington St.
I see 4 "sure" wins. WSU, ASU, WC, and FAU.
Then I say 2-2 vs Miss St/Ole Miss/Arkansas/Tennessee.
4 games that would be a stretch for Auburn to compete in vs LSU/aTm/UGA/Bama.
I say 6-6 with an appearance in the BBVA Bowl at Legion Field.

They will obviously be light years better on offense but on defense they will look like UAB or something like that compared to the teams they'll play. Soft teams lose games and unless they find inner toughness in bottle full of lightening overnight, I can't see 9 wins. 8 wins seems to be the absolute ceiling of possible success for them.

I was so glad not to hear them anymore once I moved to Nashville. But I actually already had Sirius XM so I haven't listened to any local radio for several years. Best investment ever.
6-2 at home, losing to UGA and UA. I'm giving them a very close win over OM at home, but that's another possible home loss. They go 1-3 on the road, losing for sure at LSU and aTm, but splitting with Ark and UT. Bottom line . . . 7-5 tops with 6-6 very possible.
That is about what I see. I'm not ready to claim Ole Miss has arrived yet. They had a decent first year. & have signed some talent that can come in & help ASAP. But they still gotta prove they can take the next step as well. Beating the teams they have a chance to beat like Vandy/Barn/MSU will be key to them becoming consistent going forward. Also UT & Arky are in transition big time as well. Barn should have a decent shot at both of those. If the offense is progressing at all imo.

Prob unbeaten OOC unless the Mad Pirate Mike Leach gets his old style offense going this year.
2 wins max in SEC play.
6-6 is realistic and probable.
They are very very thin at WR and RB. Any injuries along with more poor QB play and they go winless in SEC and may be 4-8

You don't have to believe me now, doesn't matter at all....but, the Pirate comes to boogland and beats au right out of the gate. Home loss to begin the new best staff ever assembled campaign.
barn wins 5-6, but won't have it in them to win 7.

Malzahn's Arkansas State team would have waxed Washington State.
Ole Miss may not have arrived yet but they beat au by 21 last year and improved their team better than au through recruiting.
kind of easy to be the most improved team when you don't even win an SEC game.
The Dynasty is Here!
I don't see any more than 4 wins.
AU's class wasn't an absolute diaster. They got some really good players considering the situation.
Late to the party, but...this.
