That can't be good for business while they "negotiate". How on earth can Dish Network pay what SEC network demands but DirecTV can't?? Good thing I'm not under contract.
Anyone's thoughts on Comcast vs AT&T UVerse.
My contract ran out on DirecTV this month. I can't wait to get rid of it.

it will be fixed . This is typical posing for money around contract time.

You sure about that.
The contract dispute is with MyTv68 which carries some SECN games while CW carries other.
But DTV isn't dropping the SECN it is 68 they drop unless a contract is done. The SECN can be on any channel. When I lived in Gainesville the JP games were on Fox for example. It just depends on the local markets and who contracts for each SECN series of games.
I live in Mobile County and DirecTV is dropping FOX, but my SEC Network games come on WJTC. Still pissed about it though, had enough of DirecTV's crap.
I am now with UVerse and Love it. At first I wasn't sure but I truly like it better than Dish. Dish Network is what I had prior and have many friends who have Direct as well. I like it over everything and to be honest, the only thing to me direct has over anyone is their sports package. If your not paying for the entire sports package - it makes no sense to have direct over anything else.
I have everything but all the movie channels. I do have some. The ONLY channel I miss with Dish is when the Braves games were on Peachtree. I did not get that last year, no idea how those telecast will be this year but that is it. Everything else is much better to me with Uverse. O, and it NEVER EVER goes out or gets fuzzy when it storms My internet is faster, better as well as I have it with ATT's best as well.
Yep, one of the sports advantages that makes their service. With NFL Redzone now taking over my Sunday's, I would not purchase the sunday ticket anyways. Fantasy Football and the Redzone are my other addictions now (g)....
We recently switched from DTV to U-Verse and love it!

Actually it's WPMI that is having problems with Direct TV in Mobile. I have Dish but will support Direct TV and not watch WPMI if they they can't get things settled. I'm getting sick and tired of this same crap popping up every 3 or 4 years. One day they're crying about Comcast, the next it's MediaCom the next it's Direct TV. These are over the air broadcast. They should be thrilled cable broadcasters carry them.
What channel is the SEC network?
THIS...it's not about DTV, or the "Big" Companies. It's about the LITTLE tiny fish overestimating what they're worth and trying to strongarm the BIG companies. It's comical, really. Everyone's really just laughing at them, and they're over there spouting off like a "big shot".
