Who gets your vote for All-SEC 1st Team QB right now?
Preseason, I imagine Tyler Wilson was the easy choice.
Is there an easy choice now?

thus far? I guess the kid from aTm
but I haven't seen a lot of football other than Bama.
1. Connor Shaw
3. Kid from aTm
My football brain says Conner Shaw, my Bama heart says AJ McCarron.
In no order...

I think Murray lost out last week and
Tyler Bray lost out against Florida
Got to be AJ or Manziel

AJ. And yes it's an easy choice. Just let the season play out.
I just can't agree with Manziel. He's looked great at times, but he plays in a wide open system, has beat up on some really bad teams, and takes a lot of risks. I think people's opinions of him will be rather different after this upcoming stretch run (if he doesn't get hurt).
I think Shaw or AJ would be the most impressive to a media type (AJ is the 5th highest QB Rating nationally, Shaw's is higher but has too few passes to qualify), but the difference between Wilson and Wilsonless Arky is jarring. Great player on a bad team.

What! no mention of Kiehl Frazier?
And Frazier is leading in the all-Frazier category.
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
AJ and forget the rest! :)
I'd go Manziel, Shaw, McCarron in that order. Would give Manziel the edge for now based on his production both passing and running. The next few weeks will tell the tale on Shaw and McCarron will have his shot mainly in November.
