Need some clarity here, because if that rule is still in place, then there could be a team with some major complaints if UGA somehow beats LSU.
Either Bama or LSU would get shut out of the BCS all together when they arguably would be the two best teams in the country.
I know they discussed changing the rule, but was not sure if the changes went into place this year.
Yes, Slive tried to get them to change it but nothing happened.
Then how is this not even discussed amongst the talking heads? This could become a huge issue. UGA has a fighting chance against LSU in that game. Obviously, LSU is the superior team but crazier things have happened. They have a much better chance than Arkansas does of beating them.
Was just talking about this. I also think it's conceivable that if UGA pulls it off somehow that if we stay where we are in the rankings and Oklahoma State loses then it's conceivable that we go to the NC, UGA to the Sugar, and LSU to the Capital One or Cotton. Crazy stuff

I think UGA has a very good shot at winning the SEC this year. They've quietly gotten very solid on the defensive side of the ball. & LSU is no offensive juggernaut. I think UGA has an above average shot at beating LSU. They would have a tougher time with Bama or Arkie imo.
