Our best downfield route is the flea flicker to Bell just like the Iron Bowl game last year,AJ doesn't throw interceptions b/c all his passes are short ones and bubble screens,at least 1 game down the road we have to go deep and I don't know if we're capable of doing that.I am just looking at the big picture and it seems like to have to throw deep more to have a balanced attack to keep good defenses honest
I thought the passing game was fine before the delay. After the delay and when AJ got banged up it struggled big time. But, AJ was connecting with Bell, Norwood, and Cooper in the first half. I would like to see us get Williams involved a little more.
That back foot flag to Cooper looked pretty vertical. We haven't thrown vertical because we haven't needed to.
It's like some of you have not watched a single Alabama game in the past five years.
Choose not a life of limitation
yes I'm concerned. Our 3rd down convesion rate is not were it needs to be. On the other hand the running game and defense looked terrific today.
This has to be a troll, please tell me it is. The passing game this year is light years ahead of any we have had the last several years.
Not me. Anyone?

I agree 100%. I guess......just.......hey, whatever.
Are you serious?
AJ has more passing Tds through 6 games then any Bama QB ever.
Rain is a bitch to throw and catch in and today it was pouring. U was getting upset at how many times we threw it today actually.
Passing game is fine, save it for when we need it and good weather.
^^THIS!!! When will people learn? Bama is averaging 8 yards per carry running the ball on a rainy day and people are worried because we didn't throw it more. When we did throw it AJ completed 76% of his passes and was effective. Bama did EXACTLY what Saban wanted.
Dude today was NOT the day to complain about our passing. We moved the ball through the air in piss pouring rain....Come on man.
I'm not so much worried about our passing game as I am with our DB's and such when we play a team that can throw it down field. I know we have done pretty good so far but we haven't faced a QB that can challenge us downfield yet. We may see that this next week with Bray and UT and that will give me a better idea of how we can do against someone that can actually challenge us downfield. But of course that is JMO and it may not bother anyone else..RTR
Did anyone really expect us to have a great passing game today? SMH
My gosh, good night people. Why do I get on here after games? There's pure stupidity at every corner.

All of the rain today didnot help any.
It was raining really hard. A coach like you, should know that'll limit the passing game.
Throw out today because of the rain, but so far this year, we have not been able to pass block well enough for downfield routes to develop. Aj gets flushed out and dumps the ball to avoid a sack. I don't care what anyone says our O-tackles need some work.
just want everyone to think,,,if you dont try things in games ,,you will not be sharp and you will be one dimensional,,
try all the plays reguardless of what your good at,,because one day you will need it,,,tougher teams await, the tide,,,rtr
I know. I wonder why can't we be more like West Virginia?! Oh wait...
