Is this thread from 2003? We beat a conference opponent by 31 on the road. The way people worry, you would think we are 3-3 with a 3 string qb.

Crimsonbleeder "If Trent doesn't go pro this year I will eat my car tires"
1) In the rain with a lead, a running game, and especially a banged up QB, we were only going to throw quick and short. We threw it well early when we wanted to.
2) that QB struggled with reads, and their ol couldn't handle the blitz. We left Wrs open intentionally, and were content to just be in a position to tackle post catch, in exchange for creating negative plays (like the red zone fumble)
I'm worried about you, honestly buddy.

We had 533 yards of offense and won by 32 in a monsoon today. Just saying...
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
It does concern me, but at times I think it is just CNS doing his thing of not showing our hand. Just like in 09. I remember traveling to the games and watching them here in Houston and wandering what in the world is he doing. Then in the SEC Championship Game, boom. But we have lost two recievers so that hurts also. I dont know, Sometimes we play down to the talent we are playing and if we keep that up it will bite us one day. We can beat anyone, it is just us executing like we should. We get up then we lay down and sit on a lead. That part I honestly hate. But as long as we can keep winning, I am ok. I dont want to totally destroy anyone, except Texas and that other team in Alabama. Roll Tide Roll
For me, the passing game has been slightly less stellar than I expected this year, but our running game has been about as expected and the D has surpasses expectations, so it's been a wash for me. But here's the thing, even with our slightly under-performing passing game, I don't think we'll need it this year. Who is going to challenge this team to throw down field consistently? Tennessee? Miss State? LSU? UF or SCAR? Oregon or KState in the BCSNCG? I just don't see it. With our defense and running game, I think the short passing game mixed in with a few deep shots could very well be enough to win it all this year like in 2009. I think some of our posters forget that this is college football where passing games just aren't as developed as they are in the NFL. Bama is very good at what we do, and few teams pass it more efficiently than we do despite not being flashy. I hope that made sense (Captain Morgan says howdy).

227 passes with no int's.
13 td passes through 6 games.
I mean, We are no West Virginia... but... oh wait!! 14 points against TT. Yeah. I'll have our offense this way.... run it like crazy and hit the bomb once in a while.
No need to nitpick, seriously.
Maybe we should fire Saban?
Exactly. I can't belive people are complaining, AJ is going to set records this year, and we are going to win #15. 13 TDs, 0 (ZERO) interceptions! What the fvck is there to complain about?!?!
We won 42 - 10 today. WTF are you talking about? Sometimes it's best to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Hey, BOL Kramer, have you ever thrown a football?
Have you ever thrown a freaking soaked ass football?
Do you realize tonight was not the night to be throwing for 400 yards?
What a dumbass- it was a thunderstorm. Freaking A, 6-0 and you have to bitch about something stupid. Get a life.

No. Winning big doesn't matter.
Our passing game is fine...we dial it up when we have to, if we need to. AJ throws a nice ball, is accurate, and spreads the ball around alot. Just because he doesn't throw to the receivers every time doesn't mean we don't have a passing game. I don't think Saban is unhappy with it. CNS said he wants more explosive plays in passing games, but that's 15 yards plus according to him. Fans definition of explosive passing game is 30 plus attempts a game, 250 yds passing with a couple of bombs. Hell, AJ hasn't thrown an INT in 230 attempts or so....I'd consider that a pretty good foundation of a good passing game.
I've seen stupid, but this takes it to a complete new level.
it worries the piss out of me,if we dont start gettin 2 where we can throw the ball downfield pretty good we will lose 2 lsu .that front seven is awesome.
Okay. LOL. I swear we have some of the dumbest damn fans in the nation.
Dont be stupid. Just sit and watch and enjoy....dont speak, dont type, dont think.
this post is almost as retarded as the op and that is saying something.
oh, just for the sake of argument. LSU LBs don't worry me. their secondary with the exception of Reid is average. Shaw was able to pass on them most of the night.
