I would have to respectfully disagree.
The Braves and Bills would both be considered dynasties for their time!! Even without the championships that go with all the winning, you had to beat the Braves and the Bills to win it. Both just seemed to not have the same success when it came to actual trophies!!

Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
I think Bama will be good as long as NS is coaching and recruiting at a high level. Not to say that we could not do it with another coach I just think NS got us going and I really cant see us totally doing like what AU have done. We may have a season where we may lose 2 or 3 games but just look at the talent we are bring in each yr and how we are stack at most of the key positions. NS is very good at developing talent and as long as he can continue to do that Bama will be ok.
That would be my guess as well. They're all hoping the next thing will come along.
Totally agree dcole. +1
Coach Bryant did it for about 20 of his 25 years at UA. That's why he was the greatest who ever lived. If Nick can keep it going for 10 that will be awesome.
What these writers don't seem to see is that CNS is focused on his legacy, without really being truly focused on it. He is working to leave his mark on college football...here's what I see happening, potentially....Saban leaves CFB with seven national titles with six at Alabama, tying Bryant. If he were to get to this point I see him stepping down and retiring. He doesn't do anything to diminish Bear's accomplishments at Alabama but leaves the game with more titles than any coach. I never would have believed this possible two years ago but I am beginning to believe he could do it.

Alabama is, and has been, a dynasty. This happens to be a peak, but the winning tradition has always been there.
Disagree. The connotation of the word "Dynasty" is tied to winning championships. As in the highest possible championship that you could play for. Not just a conference or divisional type championship. Everybody has their own definition of a dynasty. Mine is 3 championships in a 5 year period.
I don't remember a Nebraska "fatigue" or a USC "fatigue" when they were on top. Maybe I dod not notice but i don't remember it.
I guess that would leave FSU out in being a "Dynasty".I do agree with you.
