Which EE do you think will have the biggest impact this season? The past couple of years at least 1 EE has made a big contribution to our team, Big Jessie, TJY.. This year's crop might have the most potential for an immediate impact based on positions and the skill set they already possess. I am assuming Leon Brown will come in and start at RT, so I'll go with him. But I think if one of our 3 QBs coming in can take over the #2 spot that would be bigger to me than anything else.. What ya think?
Brandon Hill and Leon Brown are huge getting an early start because it's more of a position of need. Derrck Henry and OJ Howard doesn't hurt either.
I'm excited for both QB's to be on campus. Getting them extra time right now is huge with only one year for AJ left.
Raheem Falkins. You can't teach 6'4.5" height & 200lb weight. If he shows in spring what he does in his HS vids he will have a place on the field this fall as a true frosh. But you ask for EE biggest impact so it's hard not to "guess" a player with 2 seasons of college play already. Leon Brown. But if Raheem, & OJ also, has good hands and hang on to the ball after contact,,,,, well you know.......If Henry will keep his head down and follow his blocks between the tackles he could end up being a brute, a force of nature if you will. Could you imagine, with how tired the ND defense was in the 4th quarter, having to tackle Henry. Heck, the way ND tackled all game Henry could have had 100yds to go along with Eddie's & TJ's.
Imagine Jalston Fowler being healthy to go along with those guys. And Kenny Bell. And Deandrew White. And Dee Hart. You get the point.
I agree with regards to Henry. I think he will end up being a monster once they get him to get his pad level lower. Jalston Fowler was running a lot lower against Michigan than he was when we first saw him. If DH is gonna focus solely on the offensive side of the ball, hopefully they get him where he needs to be quicker. TJY, Fowler and DH would be one giant backfield...
and Chris Black.
Don't forget about Drake.
Damn shame he got injured. He would have played because he's very good. Can't wait to see what he does this year.
Henry and Howard will both make a big impact right away.
