The Big 10 has announced that they are not scheduling any more FCS teams after this year. I know the FCS teams need the money but I like this policy.
I like it too. Alabama is sort of doing this already by scheduling Colorado State instead of Montana North-Central School for dancing.
Now if we could replace Georgia St. And Chattanooga......
Well, we also have Georgia State, which is IN THE PROCESS of moving to FBS but aint exactly a powerhouse...and my thing, I dont care if the playoff subclass teams need the money. Not UA's responsibility...
Southern Miss, NC State, Army, Duke, Boston College, Ga. Tech.....all teams we used to play now and again, all somewhat respectable, none would pose much of a threat. If they do, then you know you have bigger problems.
I don't understand why they would want to go FBS. They were 1-10 last year in the Colonial Conference. Things won't get better. Do they stand to increase revenue?
Montana North-Central School for Dancing has recruited lights out and has a promising quarterback that was recruited by North Dakota School for Basket Weaving and several others, don't sleep on them.
Based on the recent strength of the Big 10, this might actually hurt their SOS
Saban isn't going to schedule any triple option teams.
yup...TV money. Sunbelt I believe...it aint much, but its more than playoff subclass gets.
+1, I wished i had up arrows left
