I disagree. That "potent" offense lost 14-13, at home, to Virginia, at the tail end of last season.
That team had serious questions on the OL last season &, based on the lack of a decent pash rush or defense that they've played against to this point, I don't believe that those questions have been answered.
Clemson's D gave up nearly 400 yards of total offense to Auburn's offense & actually made Frazier look like a somewhat decent QB, so I can understand why people are quickly labeling this FSU offense as being great, but until they face somebody who can challenge them defensively, at least taking something away from them, I won't do the same.
If we're able to navigate through the remainder of our season & find ourselves playing for the NC this year, & there's nobody on FSU's schedule who's capable of finding out what FSU can do if somebody can take away their run game & put some pressure on Manuel, then I think it's actually all the better for our chances of success if that's the first time they have to find out what they can do offensively if they have to rely on Manuel's arm to beat us, considering their defense did give up nearly 420 yards of total offense, along with 37 points, to Clemson, at home, last night.
Not exactly sure why, but I'd prefer to play FSU over Oregon. Seems more of a traditional powers matchup rather than the "johnny come lately" Ducks. Maybe it's the head to head recruiting battles, Jedi Master (Saban) vs Padawan (Fisher) battle or simple proximity/familiarity.
Personally, I would take much more satisfaction from a beatdown of FSU. Who's with me?
I agree. Would love to see this game.
I said it all along: WVU backing out would cost them if there were 3 undefeated teams
You're sticking with it so much that you deleted your OP, huh?

Who u got beating Oregon? Stanford? USC?
I hope FSU makes it to the BCSNG, because they have no gonads, and they have no chance of going toe-to-toe with Alabama for four quarters.
Fisher is mediocre at best, and Florida State doesn't have the attitude. I'll believe the 'Noles are back when they beat somebody. Until then, they are Clemson with better uniforms.
I'm 30 and I can barely remember being afraid of Florida State.
They have a lot of talented players and no identify or direction.
