AJ is playing at an extremely high level. Very composed and very good at looking off defenders and checking down. I think we really look for quick completions early and often next week. Need to keep him clean early, then I think we'll be able to run on them.
CJ Mosley is also playing at an extremely high level.. The guy doesn't make mistakes and is a huge factor at defending the pass.
Devall is really coming into his own. Think he's turning into an Upshaw in a big hurry and will be utilized as he was in 09.
Jessie is as he did last year mid to late season is starting to elevate his game.
Love our corner play, but I think the glue back there is Lester. Guy is a leader and a player and is going to make the team that picks him up after round 1 of the draft very happy.
As good as our line is and the across the board compliments is receives, Steen has quietly had an outstanding season. Wish Fluker pass pro'd like he run blocked, he'd be a top 10 pick...hope he sticks around.
Love our receivers...glad frosh have stepped up as we'd be in trouble depth and consistency wise if they have not. Cooper is grade A. I look for The Jones to start contributing more in the later part of the season.
M Williams doesn't get any appreciation...he's a huge reason we are as good as we are. Guy does not make blocking mistakes and will be a huge factor in keeping AJ clean next weekend.
TJ Yeldon is as good a RB as I have seen as a frosh. Incredible patience for a player his age.
Finally Barrett Jones. I can't say anything that has been before. The guy is the offensive MVP, as Lester is the glue in the secondary, Jones is the glue on the OL.
Next week, I expect a war, but I also expect we play very well and get the W.
RTR folks, have a good week.

Great post +1

I agree. Good post.
Losing doesn't make me want to quit. It makes me want to fight that much harder-Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant
Are there any things they need to work on? Didn't really see any constructive criticisms in your post. Thanks!
Agree 100% with everything you said. Bama is getting better each week. Well, except for DJ's pass pro, but
he gives 100% every game and he really should be at RG. That's probably where he'll play at the next level.
I think Deval is more like Hightower & will most likely play more at Will or Mike LB spot in the future. He is a good pass rusher & seems to get better every week. The 2012 recruiting class will go down as one of the greatest in college football & I'm amazed at how many are earning roles on this team & playing at a very high level.
Posting like a champion. I think Michael Williams has had a huge part in AJ's success. What is it about our TE's? For the past few years they've played lights out, but have gotten no respect. This game may not have the hype of last year, but I assure you it means just as much to both teams. Should be a great one.

Kick off coverage.
LSU has 2 great pass rushers in Mingo and Montgomery. You can bet your last dollar that they will be trying like hell to take AJ out of the game. Especially since one of our only weak spots is in pass protection. AJ will have to get rid of the ball quickly and you know CLM has been working on covering that down and out from the NC game that we ran so well. I hope CNS has something different in the game plan this time.
Also, I hope we don't run the ball every time after missing on the first down play action pass. Even the TV announcer pointed that out last night so I'm sure LSU will be looking for it.
Yeah, Dr. Lou even said we had no weaknesses other than kickoff coverage. I was surprised he was so complimentary.
It was awful last night. Great everywhere else.
Good post thanks for your thoughts.
I think Tyler Russell is a better QB than Mettenberger. LSU will end up being one dimensional.
Although he doesn't get the touches due to depth, I would add Kenyan Drake as a great freshman talent. The future is bright at RB.
I agree, and better than Tyler Bray as well, kid has impressed me this year. Best passing QB we'll face this year.
I agree. Tyler Russell is the best qb we have faced this season.
Bray and Wilson might be better at 7-on-7 but in big boy football Tyler Russell is better cause he isn't scared. He has a good arm, big frame and decent athleticism. More importantly he delivers the ball even when pressured.
Don't forget the kid from A&M. He is a player who will give us fits because he is elusive and makes plays on the run.
I agree but I have not been impressed with the LSU receivers, not helping out Mett
