Sorry, that's how i feel. Today's loss is unacceptable.
Goes beyond one game today - offensively, their scheme or philosophy or whatever you want to call it stinks. Their interior recruiting lacks a sense of urgency (as in, they need more guys inside). They aren't developing their offensive talents sufficiently.
Grant will need a miracle to salvage the season. If he doesn't, I don't think he is going anywhere after this season but will be on a redhot seat next year.

I really don't watch basketball but wasn't we suppose to be a pretty decent team this year? I really haven't kept up with it to much since I really do not like the sport. TIA
He seems so set in his ways. I hate to say it but it is painful to watch. I sit there screaming at the tv the whole game. Just pitiful.
Well we did lose our big man for the year but I am dissappointed in this years team do far.
I completely agree.. Grants inability to sign or develope a big man is really hurting. I was hoping we wouldn't miss a beat losing Greens scoring ability but we are.
We need to go after Bruce Pearl or somebody of that nature that plays an exciting brand of basketball. We are never going to be Duke, N.C. or any top tier program but we should be competitive and able to make an ncaa run every once in a while.
It's not just this game today. We were still in single digits halfway through the first half against VCU. That team by the way had shooters and big men that could actually score, something that we do not have, had not have under Grant with the exception of Lacey being our only outside threat. It's embarrassing and I'm sick and tired of watching us on offense get across half court and then run the weave til there's 5 seconds left on the shot clock and then throw the ball towards the backboard if we're even able to get a shot off.
I was at the game today and I am as disappointed as everyone else. I am not, however, ready to give up on Coach Grant and this team. Grant has had success before coming here and he is one of the good guys. We have to be patient until this team develops a leader or two. Additionally, who are you going to get?
A year ago some of us were getting killed on this board for even suggesting Grant wasn't a great coach for Bama.
"Theres No Substitute for Guts"
Went to the game today. I go to most of them. As much as I like CAG, this is the lowest point I can remember for Bama hoops. The atmosphere is completely dead and the team is hard to watch. Offensively I can't remember seeing another Bama hoops team this bad. No shooters at all (Releford is at least decent), can't rebound, can't hit FTs, etc. Just hard to watch. I am pulling for CAG to turn it around, but I am running out of excuses for him. Roll Tide.
We should go after Bruce Pearl? Really? Give me a break.
Pearl would be a slam dunk hire for our program. Guy simply wins and loves to build a program, very passionate, and constantly pumping the fanbase. He's exactly the coach Bama could use and not need to over-pay like we are doing with Grant.
NCAA loves him as well
And goodness knows Tennessee was a dump of a men's basketball program with barely any fan support before he got there.
