If Saban were to use his magical powers to get him, does anyone else think Les could be gone, or at least on the hot seat? I mean Fournette is the next Trent Richardson and he's right in their backyard, and LSU didn't sign a back last recruiting class specifically so he'll be the automatic starter in a year or two.
I don't think losing a recruit like Fournette would cost him his job. His pride for sure but overall LSU is going to recruit well and they have a good stable of RBs already.

Les just sighned a new long term contract.
Would much rather have Cameron Robinson.
i don't know, i really think this would be a HUGE blow if he went to Bama. If arch-rival and 3 straight national champion (hopefully) Alabama comes in their backyard and steals their best recruit in years... he also blew the game against Bama this year, without his onside kick and a few other poor decisions that I remember him making I don't think we win that game. oh and 21-0 happened.
I don't know, i guess im bias but i just think he's a horrible coach and i get the feeling that many LSU fans don't like him very much, could be way off but that my opinion
I thought the same thing but I recently hung out with some influential LSU supporters and they really do love the guy. Apparently he also does a lot of work in the community and is well received with the boosters etc. that matter. With that said, Miles isn't going anywhere for a long time. As long as he can keep them as a top 10 type of team he can have a Mike Brown type tenure there. It'll take a few subpar seasons to get him fired at this point unless one of them is an Auburn 2012 type season - then all bets are off.
Jeremy Hill is one of the best backs in his class - after TJ Yeldon. I like him more than Todd Gurley, who's very impressive in his own right.

If they have a rocky season, say 7-5 or 8-4, and don't capitalize on an incredible year of in-state talent, then I think the leash gets really tight. LSU fans were not excited about the extension/raise he got.
Les Miles is the perfect crazy coach for LSU. He fits perfect with those nutty people down there. He would have to have 3 losing seasons in row before they fired him.
umm no. very naive thought and to say he is the next Richardson is very foolish as well.
Agreed! I would love to have another top RB but this statement is extremely premature. Not to mention that I am much too
excited about our recent class of rb's to even think about someone else. Just glad we have CNS to think about these things and always recruiting the future.
