Doesnt look like we have back to back openings till the 20s. 2015 or bust. At least for openers. Could do it in the following weeks I guess like PSU.

I too would like this game and the venue is not an issue to me no matter where it is.
BUT!!!! Wisc could give all sorts of trouble especially if they have the running game going.
I think they match up with us more so than other of the teams in the conference.
Yes we owe them!! and we owe FSU a good belt-whuppn too!!
don't want notre dame til they're competitive

My father in law is friends with Sam "Bam" Cunningham, and he wants that series with SC to start back up too. He has a standing offer to sit in our skybox if it ever happens, and if we go out there, I sit with him in the Cardinal and Gold seats. Awesome guy.
I'd heard last year WE turned down a neutral site game with Wisconsin for Lambeau...THAT woulda been cool. Apparently we thought it didnt make sense as it would be such a home field for them and so small...
Coach prefers neutral site games. I obviously don't know all the reasons but it's a combination of advertising for recruiting for a region (Jacksonville, Dallas, Atlanta) loaded with high end HS talent, easier to get higher end opponents on relative short notice vs the waiting 8-10 years fot H/H when programs may not be of same caliber then, and money.
ESPN is a driving force brokering these deals. Usually coming with 3-4 willing opponents and Coach sorts them out.

Just FYI everyone, Madison is a great place to attend a game. If Alabama played there, you all would really enjoy the town, the stadium and the fans. Trust me on this one.

I'm sure a major reason we turned down the offer was we don't recruit the Illinois/Wisconsin or Midwest area. If the game could be played in like Nashville it probably would have been on, but soldier field and lambeau would only really benefit Wisky. Sure it would be a prime time game, but that isn't very difficult for us now. Not sure why a h/h wasn't a viable option, other than it probably would have to do with not having two seasons with openings.

Alabama vs USC in Dallas please.
I think Wisconsin would of been a fun game but there are two traditional power house programs on the radar that trump Wisconsin. I won't go into specifics but if either come to terms it will be the biggest non-conference game in Saban era. Both likely in a neutral setting.
