Man crush on the white bear! That's all. Go Braves
Gattis should be starring in those Dr. Pepper 10 commercials they have running.

Paul Bunyan and his axe......
Who gets a HR on their first ab, and first ph ab?
He looks like he is going to hit it 500 feet every time he steps to the plate.
Y'all are about to make people leave BOL...for good! :)
2nd AB but point remains - kid can crush a FB
15 National Championships, 23 SEC Championships, NCAA Record 60 Postseason Bowl Appearances, NCAA Record 35 Bowl Victories
Best lineup in NL.
Dang it , it sure was. Not that your 2cd ab is bad but they were talking to his Dad when he hit it. I was watching live but still felt like it was his first ab.
So, who homers in their first game, 2cd official ab and their first official PH ab?
My all - time favorite Braves are John Smoltz, Ron Gant, Greg Maddux, and after 15 games,,, Evan Gattis....

off Halladay no less...
kid is a legend already. Belting that 96 mph Strasburg fb at the letters...as the kids say...
O M G
My all time favs have been Smoltz, Maddux, Galarraga, and Prado -- Gattis definitely looking like he will be in my group too.
Ron Gant? interesting choice
He is a beast! Going to be interesting next few weeks to see if he stays in Atlanta. Hard not to play him, but as back up he want get as many bats. If only two catchers travel some managers want ph the back up in case the starter gets hurt.
I liked Ronnie Gant.
why is that?.... Dude played as hard as any player on the field... Too bad fans criticized him for hitting singles in the play-offs, when everyone else was striking out...
The teams of my young years....Murph, Horner, Hubbard (the original small glove at a middle infield position), Gene Garber, Al Hrabosky, Chambliss, Claudell Washington, Bruce Benedict, Rafeal Rameriz - dude had the best jerry curl ever (g)....so many others. And of course the big guys from the teams of the 90's.
NO Way... On that team,,,,the best Jerry Curl and Best Name award goes to Pascual Perez....lol Curl was not overly wet..lol
His was really good too. There was a few years, maybe the last coule Rafy was in Atlanta, before the next Rafy came in....where he's got really long and drippy for a while. I remember the back of his sky blue road uni being wet before first pitch (g)
Of course most years rafy's was just a good fro like this.
he played hard
Man, I loved Claudell
I think Maddux and Smoltz would be my top 2. Probably Murph next.
by the way, it is April 18, and Justin Upton has nine (9) bombs
