Here's an article on Gene Marsh from the Chronicle of Higher Education.
I thought the part on the aggressiveness/incompetence of NCAA investigators was interesting
The retired law professor has reinvented himself as a go-to resource for colleges in trouble over sports.

I will always maintain that it was he who got us into so much trouble years ago when he was supposedly helping us against the NCAA.
He got used like a rented mule on that deal!

He was on staff at UA a couple years ago and one time guest spoke in a class I was in. I wanted so bad to throw the discussion into uncharted territory by bringing up his negligence from years ago. Didn't though cuz I was wanting to graduate.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
I took one of Marsh's courses when he was a professor at UA. He knows a thing or two about gross incompetence. Trust me.
He's one of those lifetime academicians who couldn't relate to a tree stump.
I had him too! Couldn't agree more!
