DB Sanders Commings says they have the best D in the country...reminds me of Florida talking in 2009....I guess we will have to do some talking with our pads popping on the field...RTR
They're doing way too much smack talking this week to be focusing on what really matters. I dont care if youre lead into saying that stuff by an interviewer, you should know better. I live that we dont see our guys disrespecting their opponents. People can say this stuff makes no difference if they want, but i think we can safely say thats not true.
Smack talking from Georgia is good -- for us.
I'm hearing some from a Georgia fan friend. She says that Georgia is playing "happy and free" (What is that?) while Bama "has something to prove". I asked her what more do we have to prove? We've won two national championships in three years. I'm still waiting for an answer.
Sounds like a bully complex to me. They probally somewhere inside have a lack of confidence or uncertainity of not being able to get it done, due to them only having two real opponents on the schedule south carolina that destroyed them and florida that gave them a gift with 6 turnovers. So all this talking is thier way of hiding thier lack of confidence and uncertainity .
I don't really mind him saying they have best defense I would hope our players think the same thing. I have more of a problem with Rambo calling out bama than this
They are trying to convince theirselves they can win. This is why Richt is allowing the talk, he knows they need whatever psychological advantage they can get.
Please add "probally" to BOL dictionary. Thanks.
Best defenses don't:
Give up 20 FAU
Give up 23 to Buffalo
Give up 24 to Kentucky
And they certainly don't give up 44 to UT...
Nice! The proof is all in black and white so far. We've both played in the same league this season and have played 12 games. The numbers speak for themselves. Just wait until we hit them in the mouth over and over again, we will change the way they think.
But come on. Everyone knows this team is a completely new team even if this is based on them playing Ole Miss, Ga Southern, GA Tech, and Auburn.

All the smack talking is exactly why they always fold in the big games. They get way to hyped up before kickoff.

Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
They keep saying they're not scared of Bama, they're not intimidated. Who are they trying to convince? Media? Alabama? Or themselves?
"Quit trying to make a play and do your job!"
Who cares? What do expect the kid to say? "We have the 7th best defense in the nation"????? Is it also talking smack if a player says they are going to win too? Not downing the OP, but these kids have to believe in something. Now if a kid came out and made a derogatory remark about the other team then yes that could be viewed as smack talking. This is no different from joe Namath predicting a Super Bowl win or the team having the never again motto with auburn.
Now I agree Saban handles things differently.
Post of the day.
Florida had earned it, imo. UGA has not.
Ding ding ding! You have won a 1 year membership to the Jelly of the Month Club. That's exactly what I was saying earlier to a friend of mine.
I would tell her to ask an Lsu fan what happens to a team when Bama play like the have something to prove
Some defensive numbers to chew on while we wait.

Didn't they have the same attitude in 2008? Their mouth is already telling me Richt won't have them ready.
