Tyren Jones said if there’s a “Derrick Henry domino effect” among top running backs, he’s not going to be part of it. Jones is arguably the state of
Good read..thanks for link.
There you go. THAT'S the kind of kid I want on our roster.
How hard do you think it was for the AJC to publish that?
Well that ends that rumor, thanks for the linky
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
I love reading that comment section...always good for a laugh.
Glad to see Tyren is solid, excited to see that kid in Crimson.
I read the comments as well, but I get sick of Georgia comments of (Richt being a good christian man or the grey shirt comments)
Thanks for the link.
I was about to say I bet ole Carvell was plenty pissed he had to write that.
Good news, thanks
Very, very hard. Carville was probably crying the entire time.
Glad to put T. Jones will decommitt If henry flips idea away. Would love to have all three and the two top back in Alabama in 2014 class too.

Nice read, thanks for posting.
I will really be disappointed if Jones doesn't come to Bama. I've watched the film of every RB we have on our roster and the ones committed (or just arriving like Drake). They are all very talented and have the potential to do big things at Bama. I will have to say that of all the ones I've watched, Jones is my favorite with Tenpenny being a close second and Yeldon being 2b.
I just think that Jones has the "it" factor and will be a great one. He's got all the moves of Ingram, but with better break away speed. That was the one and only shortcoming I think Ingram had....that he rarely outran the elite DBs in the SEC. Trent never got caught from behind and I don't think you'll see Jones, Tenpenny, Yeldon, Hart or Drake being caught from behind very often.
I guess, for me, I'm not going to be crushed if Henry doesn't come to Bama, though I would like to have a kid with his skills playing for us. The next few months should be interesting.
Thanks for the post.
Reposting my earlier post from a previous thread (Henry Update) at the request of a fellow poster:
I honestly don't understand why everyone continues to force the issue. I suppose it's just the average person's desire to create drama or incite controversy.
For all the guys that keep asking, "do you think this kid or that kid is going to be scared off by x recruit's commitment?", I have news for you that you seriously need to let sink in ASAP!
Tyren & Altee are not scared of competition, in fact, they thrive on it! If this were a three-way game of chicken, all three of these guys would run as hard as they could right into the other, get up, shake hands and do it again, then again, again and again. They didn't get to where they are by backing down from anyone.
They are winners, they are champions & they want to play for the best & compete against the best to prove it on the field. I think all three of these guys end up playing for Bama and helping each other to be drafted at the highest position possible by preserving themselves and lengthing each one's future NFL career and winning each other rings as teammates. They each have the talent, they each have the heart and they all refuse to quit.
Why don't we squash the "I prefer x over y" talk once and for all and simply agree that the only kid of these three we wouldn't want is the one that would back down from the challenge and admit defeat by choosing a "lesser/easier" road via another program come Feb.
The Bama backfield can accomodate all three and there are enough carries & receptions to make all three of them superstars. If one or the other feels he has a better NFL future at a different position then he'll consider the switch based on Coach Saban's advice at that time.
They are trusting in the system and a proven Process that gives them the greatest chance of success. I don't see Altee trusting an uncertain & unproven system at Arkansas to such a serious endeavor. I know Tyren isn't backing down from anyone and trusts the system that produced Ingram & Richardson to yield the same results for him.
Tyren & Altee are already on board and neither are leaving regardless of what anyone else does. I hope Henry decides to join them. For all the doubters, haters or controversy creation guys they've got 3 words for ya,"I Ain't Scared"!!! Roll Tide
