As that drive was happening..I said please..let AJ throw a bomb TD pass, let Edward break a long run..just please don't let it be Yeldon.
It was Yeldon, and yes, I was butthurt.
Kid is a stud.
Must be a troll.
TJ has now deeply hurt both of our rivals. One of my all time favorite players. Oh and -
"Over the last few weeks, I've really put a lot of time and thought into where I want to go to school and continue my football career," Yeldon said in the statement. "I am blessed to be in a situation where I have several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has helped me get to this point.
"I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get to work on the things I need to do to prepare for college both athletically and academically. I am going to enroll at the University of Alabama in January.
"I have a lot of respect for Auburn, the coaches, and all of the people there, but at the end of the day I feel like the University of Alabama is the best situation and fit for me and my family. I am 100 percent confident with my final decision. I feel great about it and I'm excited to get started."
Is TJ's decision to flip one of the most important/impactful in the history of UA/AU recruiting battles? Other than Calloway's, I don't recall any other high profile decisions, however, I have to admit that I didn't follow recruiting that closely pre-Saban.
Love that last sentence. Thanks for posting this. Unreal the impact he's made.
I would have to put Cyrus in that discussion too. It was a different scenario, but still a switch from AU that led to a starter for us.
Gosh, how could I forget about Cyrus! You're right.
Cyrus, Calloway, and Yeldon were all huge flips
The Cadillac was an Alabama fan all of his life......if I'm not mistaken, he and Brodie Croyle also were buds.
I hated losing him to Auburn. He would have been a difference maker.
Thanks for the info on Palmer, Shade, and Williams. I was not aware of their situations.
Wasn't Bo a Bama lean at one point? I seem to recall hearing stories about something happening that caused him to go to the Barn instead.

I'm just proud he ended up at Bama. RTR
Uh... Cyrus K

I think we've gotta include Chris Jones in there, too. Thanks, Mrs. Jones, for putting your foot down!
