My wife's step dad's family has a tradition that his brother (who's autistic) insists on us continuing with our son. They bake a cake and sing happy birthday to Jesus. Its a little different, but thought it was kind of neat. Merry Christmas.

Amen to original OP.
Anybody would be hard-pressed to love God and His Word more than I do (my opinion, obviously), but Jesus isnt interested in His 'birthday' or anybody observing such a day. I absolutely love 'eating' the Word every day, and having a very real relationship with Him.
Jesus actually wants us to 'celebrate Christmas' by how we LIVE, on a daily basis...
Matthew 7:21 - Jesus said. "Not every one that saith unto me, 'Lord, Lord', shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH the will of my Father which is in heaven".
John 14:23 - Jesus answered and said unto him, "If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him".
Luke 10:25 - And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, "Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 26 - He said unto him, "What is written in the law? how readest thou?" 27 - And Jeus answering said, "Thou shalt LOVE THE LORD THY GOD with ALL THY HEART, and with ALL THY SOUL, and with ALL THY STRENGTH, and with ALL THY MIND; and thy neighbour as thyself". 28 - And he said unto him, "Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live".

Amen. HAPPY BIRYHDAY JESUS !!
If the Pharisees and Sadducees were among us, they'd be complaining about the inaccuracy of Jesus' birthday being celebrated on December 25, which is exactly what the Enemy wants: To take the focus off the Son of the living God and divert it to himself (Eph 2:2). It's important for believers to remember that we're "in the world;" one made up mostly of non-believers. And, on Christmas Day, "the world" is reminded of the Savior, The Lamb of God. To me, that's a wonderful thing.
Nail on the head brother! In a world that is full of evil, why as Christians would we not celebrate Jesus's birthday on CHRISTmas? Obviously we should celebrate his birth daily but how many of you honestly do that? I'm so thankful and consider it a privilege to honor my Lord and Saviors birthday today!!! Merry Christmas!
