I say yes.
Proof is in the ticket prices.
Good argument for it
Has the hatred between UA/AU changed the way anyone else feels about the rivalry or is it just me? I have an unhealthy amount of hatred for them, and while I get a lot of pleasure from that, I don't necessarily think of it in terms of a "rivalry" anymore...
LSU is definitely #1 for me, and honestly I wish UT was at least a little more competitive so that I could enjoy the rivalry with my UT buddies. They've almost totally lost interest in football and they're very complimentary and openly envious of what we have going on right now.
I'm also really excited to see where the aTm relationship goes... If they can maintain then AU may fall off my radar completely other than just enjoying massive fail at every turn for them.
I think Lsu drops off a bit for the next few years. The A&M game will be a tougher ticket to get than the Lsu game this season and next imo.
LSU is the only team that can match up physically with us as of right now so to me there ahead of Tam at this point it may change pretty quick though
i think your right about lsu being our second biggest rival. however, i would never want to lose our rivalry game with the big orange. that was coach bryant's biggest game. the tennessee game has always been a streaky series. hope we continue on with our streak for a long time!
No. They are our #1 rival at this point, because they have been our biggest threat since Saban arrived. A rivalry needs to atleast be competitive, and the past couple of years, neither ut or ubarn have been all that competitive. Based off this season, A&M and LSU could very well be our 2 toughest games every season, for the next few seasons!
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
No. A few years of close games doesn't erase the long history we have with Tennessee. Things will change. LSU will have some down years, and Tennessee will get better one day. It always happens that way. We have too much history in that rivalry for it not to matter. Then again, I'm old school about most things anyway.
Never in no way shape or form, Tenn is the ultimate, always have been always will be, just wait till they are relevant again, their pompous ass fans will re-appear.
I will always hate UT more than any team in the country. I love bashing their heads in every year. With *U and LSU, I dislike them but its become more of an apathy towards them. I honestly don't care how their games go until they play us. I want UT to lose every game. LSU is the game I worry about the most obviously, but they aren't on top of my rivalry list
Yes, lsu has a hell of a recruiting class again this year. Don't see much changing in that rivalry. I do get a lot of satisfaction smacking tenn around every year. I got to be a teenager during the 7 in a row by them. We got their 7 this year.
I respect LSU. I enjoy the challenge of playing them so they're a huge rival but its different than au or Tenn. I despise those teams. I would love to see them lose every game and their fanbase in agony over how inept their team is. I don't wish that on LSU. I feel like they are a marker and reflect if our team is legit that year. So a huge rival but to me personally they can't compete with the Dismukes or smokies
You'll never achieve great things until you believe that's what's supposed to happen
