What if he ended up at Auburn? Discuss.
Who doesnt like beating Nutt? yes i went there!
Not going to happen....But we could only hope...LOL
Lazy recruiter like Tubbs.
Nutt lost to Saban when he had Peyton Hillis, McFadden, and Felix Jones on his team, and CNS was coaching a team full of Shula's players. Auburn ain't hiring him.
If they are looking for someone to beat CNS then their search will be a long one.
They need to find someone that can first beat Dan Mullen and the like first.
No matter who they keep, fire or hire they ultimately will be measured by their ability to stand toe to toe with the best coach in college football. That's why the dumpster fire may become the eternal flame.
Going to be an interesting coaching search if they go another way.
Personally, I think Chiz gets 1 more year (mostly due to the buyout), but Loeffler is gone, they go back to the spread/hurry-up, and are able to get to 7-5 next year (losses at LSU, at Texas A&M, at Georgia, Alabama, and 1 of (Ole Miss, Miss. St., at Arkansas). A win in the bowl game gets them to 8-5, with nearly everyone coming back in 2014 Auburn sticks with the Chiz.
Recruiting will be "taken care of" for anyone they hire.
can't think of a more perfect place for Nutt. How about Terry Bowden---of course that bridge has been burned a million times over, but still, the irony would be just too perfect!
