Didn't he decide to come back?
He may be worried about his ability to compete for a starting job with some of the young talent we have. Sort of like Darron Thomas realizing he was going to get beat out by Marcus Mariota.
Darron Thomas wasn't worried about getting beaten out by Mariota, he was just crazy with Jevan Snead syndrome and thought he was going to get drafted.
As much as I want Hubbard to be back-( I think he could have a Monster season next year)- I would think he could really impress in the Combine, etc.
I don't see how he would not be drafted in the 1st or 2nd round.
Apparently he has, but that only just happened.
The thing is, he has a "first round grade", but I think it has fallen from a top 10 projection to a late 1st projection. Lewan has struggled a bit too much for a "dominant" label.
I think Lewan made a mistake regardless. I don't see how he wouldn't have been the second tackle taken after Joeckel, and I think next year's tackle class could be more crowded even if he doesn't lower his stock further or get injured. He's not going higher then Cyrus, that's for sure.
The weird thing is, if you click on a sports story from CNN's home page, it goes directly to Bleacher Report, whereas they used to be associated with SI. I know Bleacher Report was recently sold for megabucks. Maybe they're actually legitimate now?
This year? You're crazy...

Well according to this thread the guy this thread is about cant play in the league and he owned Lewan
Can a staff member chime in as to what they are hearing on Hubbard? This would be a major bummer as I think AH is going to come into his own next season.
Hope some of our dumb fans aren't harassing.

On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
Free agent destined for an NFL practice squad...or (potentially) a first/second round draft pick with another year of development at Bama. Really bad decision if true.
Do ya thing rod grizzard
matt miller, bleacher reports head NFL draft guy, tweeted that Hubbard projects in the 1st round. This isnt just some random dude on twitter either....he's got 45000 followers
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
"We have an opponent in this state that we work every day, 365 days a year, to dominate."
I'll bet you $ he won't be drafted in the first two rounds if he leaves this year
ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE....like NO other
