This morning he seems to be getting little love in regards to potentially playing more this season if not starting at some point. The "overall" consensus is that he's simply not the guy and I honestly don't see how anyone on the planet can come to that conclusion at this point without seeing more. Greg McElroy deserves a shot at this. He deserves a chance to let that question be answered "on the field". I know this is like my third rant about GMAC but I just can't let it go, I just can't let it play out because I fear this guy deserves an honest chance behind center in live play and he'll never get it. Hell even the Jets players admitted without admitting that GMAC has a confidence and cockiness about him that brings a spark to the team. That attitude can be CONTAGIOUS if given a chance. That belief in ones ability can be CONTAGIOUS if given a chance. I'm telling you now, if this guy is out of the league without given an honest chance "ON THE FIELD" to be a starter, it will be one of the biggest disappointments on a long list of guys who just needed "one shot, right here right now". Greg McElroy IS a leader. I can't tell you what lengths I'd go to if it meant he got every snap for one game. Not sorry, but rant over.

I don't know if Gmac is their long term solution, but there's no way they have a better option on the team right now. He at least deserves a shot.
I follow a lot of people on Twitter, and the once who live in the New York area were posting non-stop about him. I
glad to see him get his chance, and I bet it's not the last time.

Wow, I didn't realize that he got to play yesterday. Hopefully that isn't the last we've seen of him.
Chris I can't tell you just how right I hope you are on this one. I'm 100% going on the record in saying if they give GMAC the football and say go lead this team to victory that he will do just that. Here's to hoping the cries of the Jets nation finally get heard and he is given the rock again next week.
