... and I'll give you another, very strong, indication that Jones is going to play. After the SEC Championship, when the locker rooms were open to reporters, Barrett eventually came in and answered every question asked to him. Afterward, he sat there talking to the team's medical people about how they were going to work his rehab and all around all the trips he was going to take -- and I could hear them.
If they were hiding a bigger injury there is absolutely no way they would have done that.

He did hold his own pretty well against a guy bigger than that in the UGA game for three quarters after he hurt it. I think Barrett will be fine come January 7, and that's all that really matters.
Seeing as you are a Professor in Balls, not ankles I think you should stick to your area of expertise and let us know if Tebow will ever have his balls played with by a girl?
He won't be fine but he will play. To your point though, he played with the injury during the UGA game but this injury most likely won't heal with just rest. Trust that the medical staff and the coaches (not to mention the Jones family) will do what needs to be done. I will say this, if the stakes were not this high I truly believe he would have had surgery immediately following the SECC. We need him so here's hoping the rest helps a bunch.
After SEC CHampionship game he was running around celebrating ? Couldn't be that bad
I don't know how badly AJ is injured but you will likely never hear anything about it. I know for a fact he had surgery after last season for an injury he had for half the season and that was never reported.
That's common knowledge at this point. He hurt the shoulder in the Arky game.
AJ had knee sprain or similar, bruised ribs & back contusion. He was under considerable pain management & wore braces & support through several games. It;s gonna be nice to have a fully healed AJ in the NC game!! RTR
I thought it was a foot injury, not an ankle sprain. Besides, he'll be fine no matter what.
they are definitely not letting us in on the whole situ
dudes got bad gas too
When I was in school, I stepped wrong in a stairwell and was lucky enough to not only twist my ankle, but also to catch my foot in a gap between the guard rail and base of the step. Now, I know sprains have different severities, but I was able to walk without crutches or a cane... after 2 weeks. After those initial 2 weeks, it was another 2 weeks before I could go back to practice - marching band practice, that is. BJ is about to play in an incredibly important game, and not a single one of us knows how he feels physically at this juncture. However, CNS and BJ have both said that it is a sprain and that he will return after Christmas, and I believe them. There is absolutely no reason to believe that we aren't being told the truth.
For the record, it has been 4 years, and my ankle still swells if I do anything strenuous.
I was in the Hollywood hills...the house was on a cliff....we were on a trampoline...there was me..two midgets...a shower curtain...a nekkid sushi model ....3 bottles of Dom...a case of ripple and a twister board.....
Thanks Chris! Greatly appreciated! awesome info.
