EL is not making the cut back whereas TJY is putting his foot in the ground and making the cut correctly. Its pretty simple just by watching this has been the case the last couple of weeks

Lacy is a very special back. Lots of power and a great pass protector. Yeldon is a very special player. I love watching Yeldon run. He has lots of speed going through the hole and can cut on a dime. He is also a good pass protector. Its going to be fun watching Yeldon for at least two more years after this one. Roll Tide Roll!!!!
With Yeldon being as good as advertised, and the quick emergence of Drake... combined with Jalston Fowler's injury, I wonder if there are plans to do anything different at H-Back down the road to try to get two of those (between EL, TJY, KD) on the field at the same time?
I think with Eddie's blocking ability, hands as a reciever, he'd make a great H-Back in front of TJY (or even Drake, if you wanted to always rest TJY when EL was in the ballgame). I'd like to see that two-headed monster on the field some down the stretch.
Lacy didn't have a very good game last night. There's games where he's much more effective than #4. That's why it's great to have depth. Don't understand the fans who latch onto one player because of fandom.

Yeldon is elite, that I'm not disputing, but Lacy looks a tad heavy and slow. I don't think he's 100% recovered physically and athletically from his injuries. I think next season we will see Lacy at full strength once again.

I agree with this, which is why it won't be until next season that we see Lacy at full strength.
I just think Lacy might bolt...not sure he can improve where he will be drafted by staying another year, but agree if he does I'd expect him to be back to the pre-toe Lacy.
I really think that Yeldon's and Lacy's roles are reversed next year. It might not be such a bad thing either, because I truly believe that EL is best as a second RB.
jmho, lately it seems Lacy has forgotten he is a 230lb beast !!! too much flour and not enough fanny!! he stops in the hole and prepares to be hit instead of delivering the blow (no homo). i have seen very little of the punishing style that made him one of my favorites. maybe he is hurt or not close to 100% i dont have that knowledge. i can just go by what i see. i would love to see the old Lacy and then we really would have a thunder and lightning combo. ROLL TIDE.
