Defending the players and telling people not to judge them I was wrong. After reading the story this was a brutal assault and punishment should be swift and hard.My apologies to all I offended. Really really sad and dissapointed in these guys and I do hope they can learn from this but they dont deserve to play for Alabama. Itook a good beating from the board and deservingly so

R.I.P Freddie Parker
You were trying to be cautiously fair until you heard the entire story. That is not a bad way to view a situation.
What has bothered me the most about this mess, is the attack on the other players who were trying to be supportive of the four. Their twitter accounts were quoted, and thankfully the thread was taken down. None of our players condoned their actions….I think it is going to be so difficult for the team because of the bond they have formed with these four.
I think we all need to remember that you can be supportive of a friend, without supporting his actions. These four young men have done horrific things, and will surely be punished.
How quickly their lives have changed! (and they made their own choices in this...)
This will ultimately be a learning experience for the team. So sad for all.

I think that sums it up the best of what I wanted to say by supporting the players but not the actions. You follow these kids for years can't help but feel bad for them. What a stupid mistake
