at some point. Possibly Blake Sims as well although I hope not
Out of all of them rather Calloway I think Cyrus Jones will stay at WR due to D White being out
If you want to walk the heavenly streets of gold, you gotta know the password, "Roll, tide, roll!"
I guess now we can all be happy that E. Lacey has not been beaten up as has had time to get fully healthy. He's going to get his chance to show what he's got for the rest of the year.
i kind of had the same thought but ultimately said no about Sims. i think we are thinner at QB than RB so I'm not sure that it would make sense to risk injury to one of our back-up QBs like that.
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
Agreed. And I hope BS stays right where he is b/c if AJ goes down he gives us the best chance at winning, imho.
Not sure about Jones but I do believe Calloway will get a shot at it. I'm thinking they will keep Jones at WR.
Highly doubt Jones would move considering we only have 7 healthy WRs; as others have said Sims is in the mix at backup QB so Calloway is probably the only one of that group to make the move. "White LIghtning" McAlister and Ben Howell will help with depth at their respective positions so we're pretty far away from needing to worry too much about it just yet.
I thought about Tyler Hayes, didn't he play RB in high school?
You will see more of Blake possibly in the wildcat instead of him at the RB position. THey have a package for him and i doubt they will try to move him to learn the RB plays now since he 2a or 2b in the backup role for QB.
Also dont forget as long as Howell can hold on to the ball he will get carries in games where we get a comfy lead.
Brent will probably get a look (Saban hinted to it earlier)... But Cyrus will stay put. Cyrus is the ONLY backup at slot receiver.
