One past Bama player to play today who would it be.
I would go with Derrick Thomas.
Julio... Could you image Julio and Cooper on the field at the same time...
Julio or Barron was my knee jerk thought, but to have DT on our already staggering D would be lights out. I would predict Georgia's score at 0.
For todays game it would be D Thomas. Bama could use that rush today.
Derrick Thomas...one of the greatest defensive players ever for defense and Julio on offense, amazing WR! I wouldn't mind having Javier Arenas as well, especially on special teams!!

Barron. We miss him a ton.
I like Barron or you could say Dareus with our pass rush needs

" If it feels good, you ain't doing it right!"
To only pick one past player it would have to be Derrick Thomas #55
DT or Dareus. The only thing that keeps us from being dominant in this game is our defensive line/pass rush. Everything else hinges off of that.
I pick Cornelius Bennett.. Y'all want a pass rush, he'd take care of it..
I only have to go back 1 year. Barron or Upshaw prolly CU if i had to pick one.
If you don't pick DT, then you are either too young or you have zero concept of football. DT at Jack would make our entire DB corps look 1000x better. DT had 27 sacks his SR year. He had 7 sacks in 1 pro game. The man was simple unblockable on any consistent basis.
A one-man pass rush is what we need to take the D to the next level. In this aspect, DT is the best to ever walk on the field in CFB.
1 - DT (see above)
Honorable mention (no order):
Phillip Doyle/Van-Leigh Tiffin - a great K with 50+ range would be awesome
Julio Jones - combined with another legit #1 in Cooper and a QB that can make all the throws... would be fun
Lamond Russell - he would be the WR version of Jalston Fowler at HB.
Marcel Dareus - one man wrecking crew when the scheme allowed for it.
Terrance Cody - especially the trimmed down one. Having a nose like that is an instant improvement in the ILB corps and more apt to keep our best LB on the field for all downs (keep CJ Mosley clean on 1st down).
Barron - duh
Javy - KR/PR and blitzing from the nickel/dime
Jeremiah Castille/Antonio Langham - another lockdown CB is always good.
Rolando - best MLB/ILB that we have had at Bama in college
Hightower - most versatile LB we have had
John Hannah - make our OL even better
My pick! +1 to you...RTR
Antonio Langham.. We need the DB Help. This is his type of GAME.
HM D - George Teague, Cornelius Bennett, Derrick Thomas, Rolando McClain, Marty Lyons,
HM O - Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, Johnny Musso, Ozzie Newsom, Johnny Davis, Joe Willie Namath, Kenny Stabler.
Burn baby burn. & Go to hell tennessee
"Quit trying to make a play and do your job!"
Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
DT would be great & my other pick would be Deuce. Every time I hear the talking heads talking about a defensive player winning the Heisman I think of the fact that DT did not win the Heisman & he had a great year his last year & I think he got 23 or 26 sacks his last year at Alabama. Deuce was one of the great college football players & one of the most electric players you will ever see touch a football. The whole stadium would know he was getting the ball & they still couldn't stop him.
