Coach can't play the game!
You idiot! You have no clue about what you are talking about. If you are so smart and knowledgeable whay aren't you making 2 mil a year coaching.
wimp was a hot comodity but could coach and
DEVELOP players many of which were not highly requited. he had a little fire in his eyes as well. . maybe that assistant coach at vcu who coached under grant was the real coach of the outfit. they seem to be chugging right along.
OK, Grant is a perfect coach, it's not like he would call a timeout at the end of the first regulation of the LSU game we lost and set up a play that had Releford who was having his best scoring game of his career to just sit in the corner while everyone else on the team was involved in the play trying to score which lead to us not even getting a decent shot off? What, maybe that's what is exactly what happened, but no matter, Grant is perfect and he always puts the players in the best position to win. He never Fs it up, it's all the players fault. I mean Releford just standing still without ever moving on that play to possible get a double team to free up another shooter with as hot as he was in that game must have been a great distraction for the LSU players and very hard to guard. The LSU defenders must have been thinking, it can't be this easy, something has to be up. Maybe we should send 2 guys to defend a ball less Releford in the corner who is just standing still.
So sorry, I must have been mistaken. Carry on.

Were you in the huddle when the play was drawn up? Do you know the responsibilities of each player on the court and the options of each based upon the defensive sets? I am certain that Grant knew that TR was having a great night. I am sure that he was well aware that TL had a history of being a shot maker in clutch situations this season. Furthermore, I suspect he had scouted LSU enough to know what scheme they might utilize to defend his offensive options.
However, I am more than certain that you and a lot more fans had a plan and concept that would have worked 100% of the time no matter the players, opposition or situation.
FYI: I don't think CAG is faultless or perfect. BUT, I don't think CAG is anywhere near the level of the opinion that you and others share about him. Yes, I am disappointed in the on-court product and frustratingly unexpected loses. I abhor the offensive philosophy because all of the parts needed to run his system are currently not on his roster AND other parts are not skilled and advanced enough to run it. He can't press full-court from the opening tip-off because he is short on bodies. The slow tempo half-court offense is abysmal because he doesn't have the quality OR quantity of low post players needed to run a motion offense in the post. Sometimes I wonder if the post and wing players think the lane is a street corner or front porch AND the basketball rim nothing more than a street light on a pole.
