Derrick Henery at FB and Fowler at RB. I-formation and ram it right up the middle. Next play, Fowler at FB and Derrick Henry at RB. I-formation and ram it right up the middle. Continue and alternate the players each play.
I know we likely will never run this formation much except maybe in a goalline or short yard situation. But can you imagine us running a whole offense series like this with a play action pass mixed in every now and then. Talk about killing the will of the defense.
Think about it, the first guy on defense that hits the whole has to take on a 240 pound FB. Next guy has to tackle a 240 RB. Man I would love to see us run a drive like this.
I would like to see the wishbone with sims at QB ,fowler at fb and TJ and Henery at the back positions in short and goal.
Can you see the defense trying to stop the wishbone with the backs we have?
WOW!!! I see alot of folks a$$ quiting if we do that.
Or what about that power formation that the 49ers ran this year. It would be interesting to see Sims in the pistol, Henry and fowler to each side and yeldon in the back.
